The Beginning

It is 7:30 am and a busy alarm clock sounded next to a teenager's mature underwear. "I hate Mondays". As Dante tapped his phone screen while the annoying ring tone blasted in his right ear. Standing at 5'9, a curly haired boy complimented with fine cheek bones, a structured nose and a tanned skin tone is getting ready for 9th grade. He prepares himself while walking through out the door kissing his mother goodbye. It is time for him to get his ability tested. "I wonder what Jade thinks" As he facetimes his only girlfriend thats been with him throughout his middle school life. "~FaceTime Unavailable~ Maybe she hasn't gotten up for classes yet". Dante wondered. He walks across the plaza full of mixed race travelers from everywhere in the planet. It's a day to be remembered as it's the the day the fragments from an unidentified meteor came to earth.

In the year 2021 little shards penetrated the earth's crust from a fallen meteorite causing the earth to undergo evolutionary changes. Depending on how close the first generation humans were to those shards, they gained unimaginable powers rivaling the ones written in fantasies. These abilities were ranked S-F, S being the best and F being the worst. Contrary to some abilities, unidentified powers didn't apply to those rankings but that would only be in special cases. The first person exposed to these fragments caused society to undergo changes in a vastly manner using those unidentified powers leading to what it is today.

"Revelation Day is a day to be remembered" as Dante looks at the technological billboards written all over Crystal City, causing his nervousness to undeniably spread. His best friend chase suddenly calls him, " *picks up* Hey, Dante you want to hang out after school to celebrate my 15th birthday? Everyone from school is going to be there and there might even be drinks". As Tyler smirks through the phone raising his eyebrows in a smooth manner. "I would have to check with Jade". Tyler's previous face drops as he worded out in a low manner, "About that.." Suddenly a roaring 810 TeslCar speeded past Dante going over 200 MPH in matters of seconds, almost deafening Dante's ears. "Sorry, let me call you later" Dante hangs up abruptly trying to protect his phone from the incoming wind damage. A barrier instead automatically appears in front of his face, the year is 2030, technology has far surpassed its predecessor and implemented magical barriers to protect daily citizens from harms way. As long as they are a resident of the Crystal City and not an outsider, they would be protected.

Dante checks his phone and notices that time is ticking and he needs to head to the subway so he can be on time for class. He runs down the stairs and immediately pays for his ticket to ride the incoming train. The doors open and he quickly sits down, unbeknownst to him that the seats near him are empty.
