Blue shoes and talking about the assailants
Slowly but surely I opened the little box and saw that it contained small blue shoes.
"Please, don't tell me!" asked Daisy while covering her eyes with her hands.
I smiled and couldn't wait to tell him. "This is what you wanted, honey."
"Are you serious?"
She immediately removed her hands from her face and her eyes widened when she saw the little blue shoes in my hands. She didn't say anything but smiled broadly with sparkling eyes and slowly took the little shoes out of my hands. I know she is very happy, and I am also very happy now. I have never seen her face so beautiful before.
"I got a boy!" she said through tears.
"Hey, don't cry..." I quickly wiped her tears gently, because my hand was using an IV.
