Lucid Dream

A few minutes later… Leon opened his eyes and took a peek around.

"They are gone…" He takes a sigh of relief as he feels his fear subside and lets his body relax.

Then just when he was about to contemplate 'How the fuck am I alive' he felt his limbs free so he decided to get up and look at his chest.

….

There is no hole in his chest.

'Did I dream the whole thing?' he thought, starting to doubt himself as he held his head and looked at the time.

"It's 5:05." The last time he saw the clock was around 4 ish. He shakes his head to rattle out the confusion and sees his legs are still strapped up. So he goes to Unstrap them, and he sees his hand go through the strap and his leg.

"Huh?" Leon reacted perplexed. Thinking he was still sleepy, he tried again… then tried again…, but his hand kept going through the strap and the leg!

His eyes then widen in realization and suddenly… 

*Blop*

He phases through the bed and sinks into the ground he is in a state of panic and screams his lungs out as he is surrounded by absolute darkness and keeps falling downwards.

"This is a dream! This is a dream! This is a dream! This is a dream! " he chants it out like a mantra as he sinks deeper into the darkness.

He takes a minute to control his trail of thought and then wills his mind firmly believing that this is a dream and says in his mind

'STOP FALLING!"

he stopped and remained floating in an abyss of darkness but he could still see his hands and body. He took the moment to sigh in relief now confirming that what he is experiencing is just a dream and he had full control of what he can do.

'The god code worked!, Haha! this dream is fun! Alright then!, RISE' He slowly levitates upwards and soon enough, closed his eyes as the light in the room blinded him for a moment his head popped up on his bed and he sees his legs… funny part is... His crotch is in front of his mouth.

"AH!!!"

This caught him off guard and he rose too fast making him pass through the ceiling and go through the whole Building in one go and shot up through the underground barrier of the cocoon and enters the surface and continue to shoot up.

Do note that he is still only in his plain white boxers which finally made him conscious of his appearance on the way till he reached the clouds and saw the clear night sky with countless stars lighting up the horizon.

" Beautiful"

he murmurs as he witnesses One of the most beautiful sceneries he has ever seen in his life as this was the first time he is seeing the surface world ever since he was born.

As he took his moment to appreciate the view around him feeling the touch of the clouds and the cold wind hitting him and stares at the horizon getting a shade of light blue as the red circle of light arose from the right side of his peripheral vision and he made sense that that side is east.

Leon witnesses the first natural sunrise normal civilians have seen in 60 years. There are artificial lights that simulate the sun but it was nothing compared to the real deal.

'I should wake up from my wacky dream now… It's been long enough. Descend and glide' He commands himself in his mind that helps him fly down and see the desecrated cities and the Surface cam which was a HUGE square fortress where men have been stationed surrounded by green forests and destroyed old cities.

He then sees buildings collapsing as a huge horde of monsters he has never seen before rush towards the huge fortress.

Bullets start raining down and roars of these monsters dying start echoing into the atmosphere.

"This dream is way too detailed.." he murmurs under his breath as he feels himself getting anxious and doubting himself again as he rushes and descends back straight through the fortress and rushes into the cocoon which is located 1000km deep into the ground and goes back into the infirmary.

He takes a peek into the room in a sneaky ghostly fashion and stops as his eyes go wide as he sees...

His own pale body with a hole in the chest. which is lying surrounded by Dr.Maria, a tall woman who looked like she was in her late twenties wearing shades and smoking a cigar, and a man in a blue suit who looked close to his mid-thirties.

None of that mattered as Leon froze as he stared at his corpse lying on the bed by his head which was sticking out of the ceiling.

"It was real…

It was all FUKING REAL?!

I am fucking DEAD!" He murmurs as reality settles in for Leon when the man completely forgot that he was the one who shot up to the surface after seeing his crotch up close and discarded that memory when he saw the surface world… meanwhile the people on the ground have a different conversation going on.

"It is alright Maria, we will get to the end of this, send the body to the forensics lab, if you would like to join there and investigate, then be my guest," said the 6-foot-tall lady wearing a black coat over her military Suit while smoking her cigar.

"But to think someone would go to such lengths to strap them to the bed… Doctor, tell me how you found him like this." said the man wearing a blue suit over his Pajamas.

"Y-yes president, I usually arrive at the Infirmary at 5:30 to get the records done for the hospital, and when I entered, I spotted a shadow behind the curtain to this bed, so I checked and found him like this."

"I panicked to find the body and Immediately informed the Head nurse and called in the chief"

Dr.Maria reported to the president with a professional look towards the chief.

"What is more concerning is that now there is a murderer on the loose in the military that has turned on his kind, could this be a 'crazed'?" Chief contemplates as she takes another puff of her cigar and taps the ashes on her ashtray which was on the bedside table

"Hmmm, It is a Plausible theory. so to say the least, since it is clear that it is a work of an awakened individual from the looks of it. Jesus Christ, they ripped the lad's heart out after strapping him, maybe even possibly torturing him!" the president hammer-smacked his palm gently while he told his theory with an exclaimed tone with a straight face.

Out of nowhere the chief swings her arm toward the back of the president's head, the man just ducks his head and dodges the shot and comments

" You need to find better ways than that to flirt with me, Lana" The president teased.

"Good to see that you still got your reflexes Hugo" The chief replied back while gritting her teeth.

"Heh, like I'd get a beating from a warrant chief, maybe if it's under different circumstances I'd think about it" He smirks as he continues to tease her.

"Ahem! This is not the time and place for jokes, Just stop talking with that voice when your face is that state. It weirds people out old man" Maria scolded them both.

"alright alright! Maria, any Info on the Identity of the boy.?." The chief asked turning the conversation back to Maria whose face then turned grim….

"That's the thing chief, The records are blank…"

"but surely you know your patients doctor.." Hugo asked but Maria turned to him with a serious expression and looked him in the eye and responded.

"Yes, normally I do know the people I treat...

But I don't know this boy"
