Back to the military

These tasks are provided so that your dumb brain can somehow integrate into society again and get what you want while you remain hidden from the gods and get stronger for us.

There were 3 'quests' and just reading them made Leon's facial muscles twitch.

quest 1 - [Military drills are baby steps - part 1]

BECOME A SEARGENT

Subtask -NEW LOOK

-Listen, buddy, you may be dead to the living and the gods, but that doesn't mean you can't still look sharp. I mean, come on, you've got the bod, don't let your face be the letdown. So, do yourself a favor and spruce yourself up a bit, will ya?

Subtask -2 Get yourself admitted into the military

-listen up. You may know your way around this joint, but let's be real, it's not gonna be a cakewalk getting back out into the real world.

To make that happen, you're gonna have to play the game and make some friends in high places. And don't be shy about using whatever means necessary to get ahead - I'm talkin' blackmail, espionage, you name it.

Just remember, you can be a ghost now, so use that to your advantage and gather all the dirt you can. And don't be afraid to get a little dirty yourself, because trust me, it's gonna take some serious hustle to pull this off.

Subtask 3 [optional] Get a girl

-Don't be a scaredy-cat when it comes to getting down and dirty. You ain't no weak-ass fantasy novel hero, you're a real man. So put that bod to good use and go get yourself some action.

'This damn god is testing my patience!' Leon grins while veins pop in his head and control his temptation to not tear the paper n shreds.

Quest -2 collect 3 human souls

Deadline [ 90 days left]

I am pretty sure I explained this but even If I didn't, It is pretty self-explanatory.

Just get this done in the next 3 months partner and both of us will be blessed,

All the best partner, hopefully in 3 months I'll recharge enough of my divine energy to manifest again.

P.S. -This sheet is magical so keep it close, don't worry about it getting lost because it will always find you.

The message ends and Leon sighs.

'I don't know if this guy is a troll or just toying with me for entertainment again.' Leon sighs and folds the paper and stores it in his shirt pocket.

'Deception eh, let's see…'His mind races as he begins to visualize a facial structure and observes green smoke swirling around his face, the tattoo on his right arm glowing brightly.

'I better use deception to hide those glows as well or I will be like a Christmas tree in the middle of the night.' he thinks, imagining an invisible cloak blocking the light. He doesn't have a mirror to check his appearance, but he knows it's done.

Now for the teleportation. Leon marks the rune on the floor and focuses on teleporting. In an instant, he vanishes from the cave.

At 6:00 in the morning, Leon teleported right to the alley where he first met Loki.

The teleportation disorients him and he leans against the wall, resting his head. His thumb brushes against a depression and he looks closer - it's a rune...

As he takes in his surroundings, he realizes that this is the place where he first met the god and his eyes widen in realization…

'S-surely he did not plan this all from the start right?..'

he was unsure of Loki's plans for him but he knows that there was no one else who is going to help him and might as well take the hand of the devil than the gods who brought him into this situation.

He then started to search for a window to take a glance to see his appearance after using Deception.

As Leon surveys the cadets jogging in the distance, he can't help but feel a twinge of envy. With a heavy sigh, he rests his chin on his hand and begins to think.

"I better get out of here and start making a plan," he murmurs to himself.

An Idea pops up in his head and leaves him in a daze as he starts contemplating the risks…

"It's a bit risky but if it goes as per the plan… I think I can get back into camp easily.'

He decides to use deception once again, this time making himself invisible in the eyes of everyone.

With a determined step, Leon walks confidently onto the athletics field, unnoticed by the cadets around him. As he makes his way towards the washroom, he catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror and can't help but let out a startled exclamation.

"Holy mother of Jesus,"

he mutters, staring at his reflection.

At 6'2" with slick red hair, striking yellow pupils, and a sharp jawline, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.

"Maybe good looks aren't that bad after all," he thinks to himself with a smirk.

Meanwhile, Chief Lana is working tirelessly, her eyes scanning through protocols and data with a desperate determination. She's been at it since yesterday, and the frustration is etched on her face just as much as her dark circles.

"They HAD to pull that stunt last night," she mutters under her breath, her anger simmering. "I couldn't even get a decent night's sleep!"

While she continued to do her work while she is purely running on caffeine, she receives a notification.

DING!

A message from Hugo popped up from the holographic screen.

-crisis Averted, Managed to calm the angry bird =D

-Shall I pick you up for dinner after work, It's on me

-hehe, Enjoy work.

"This man just doesn't know when to stop playing games with me," she thinks as she succumbs to the pressure and drops her head onto the table, her face flat against the surface. She reaches for her screen and swipes right on Hugo's texts, leaving him on seen.

Suddenly, a knock sounds at her door. "Who is it?" she calls out, her hand instinctively reaching for the pistol hidden under her table as she glances at her schedule for the day. "There's no appointment scheduled for this morning, and its fucking 6 am" she muses to herself as she cautiously approaches the door. The knock sounds again.

She swipes her card to unlock the door, but when she opens it, no one is there. "Strange," she mutters under her breath as she starts to turn away. But before she can, she feels something cold and sharp pressing against her neck.

"Hello there, chief," a voice whispers menacingly.

I am learning to write better and adding my own flare to it along the way.
