Lana whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of grief and responsibility as she read the reports in front of her with her trembling hands, swiping the bright screens in the dimly lit command center recovery ward, her eyes heavy with exhaustion she turns towards her left.
"And you have been promoted back to being the chief again so congratulations!" Maria clapped cheerfully.

"Why are you even here…" Lana replied with a blank face.
"Hey do you have any idea how worried I was when I heard what happened to you!, Hmph is this all I get for worrying about you?" Maria huffed up and crossed her hands and turned her head away and with the corner of her eye took a peek at Lana who then buried her face in her knees and let out a deep sigh.
