River was shocked by what had just happened. He knew that she had every right to be angry with him but he didn't know why she had reacted that way.
He let out a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair at that moment. He knew that he had no right to judge her for how she had responded towards him as it was he who had ruined their relationship. But he didn't mean to and he had his own reasons. In his head he still loved and cared for her.
He sighed. "Why does she hate you so much and why does she think that you are out to get revenge on her?" His wolf asked him.
The truth was that he really didn't know. He didn't understand what he had done to cause her to be this way. He had to fix this. He didn't know what had happened to her in the last seven years but he would have to learn and figure it out in order for him to be able to finally work towards mending and healing their relationship.
He called Rozan in as he found himself needing to speak to him. He heard a knock on his door and he cleared his throat before he watched as he walked in through the door.
His movements were cautious as though he were scared of the way that he would react to him. "You called for me, alpha". He said to him shalily.
He hummed at him as he nodded his head. "Yes, I need you to track down Cammy. She had been gone for seven years and i need to know every last detail of where she has been since then and what she has done". He said to him and he watched as he stared at him shakily for a Moment.
He was a bit uncertain at first but he nodded his head. "Can i ask why alpha." He said and he couldnt help but scoff at his audacity and his need to question him.
"Well it is simple because i said so and she is your luna. If I want to get her back then i will have to know and figure out everything that there is to know about her". He said in a demanding tone.
He watched as he bowed his head at him low before he turned to leave. Soon enough he would bring her home and he would have her by his side and when that happened there would be no running away and he would spend the rest of his life groveling at her feet and he tried to earn her forgiveness.
He let out a sigh from his lips as his thoughts went back to jackson. He wondered how he was dealing with everything . He knew that he was found to be upset so he decided to video call him.
He knew that they had left her apartment. After all there was no point in them trying to convince her now it would only lead to her moving further away from them.
He watched as the phone rang for several minutes and for a second there was a long pause of silence on the other end as he felt his heart rheum. He watched as rowo beady eyes came into view and his heart sank at the sight of tears in them.
"Hi bussy." He managed to say. "Hi." He whispered back to him. "How are you doing?" He asked with concern. He only shrugged his shoulders at him in response as he didn't say anything at first.
"Hey you know that everything is going to be just fine. I am here for you after all and soon enough you will come home . I know that she wasn't what you expected but I promise you that it wasn't your fault she was just having a bad day. When you get home we can have a movie marathon and we can enjoy some nice time together?" he suggested to him.
He let out a sigh before nodding his head. "Okay daddy. Can't wait." He squealed in excitement and he chuckled briefly as they talked for moments longer before the call was ended.
He didn't know how things had gotten so messy and how it was they had come down to this.
He hadn't expected for them to be this bad.
He didn't want to see his son upset or did he enjoy seeing him crying. His son was the most
Important thing to him aside from Cammy and he would have done everything for him.
He remembered vividly the day that he had found him in the Border of his pack. It was a few months after Cammy had been kicked out.
With her gone Celeste has turned into a monster when he had told her that they would never work
And they would never be together. She had threatened the lives of innocents and with the help of her pack they had waged war.
He was losing badly and he was running out of men but then Jackson like a ray of hope had appeared to him.
He was the thing that he needed and he had helped him to get through Some of his toughest spots.
He didn't dare whose child he was but the moment that Sam had shown him the boy it was something normal that had been set off inside Him. From his scent alone he knew that The child was his.
He couldn't understand how that was even remotely possible, there had been only one woman he had slept with. And she was gone. Although it did make sense that the child could have been heard he knew that it couldn't have been.
Not with the reaction that she had shown towards him. And now he was more confused than ever. She was the only woman he had laid with so the question remained.
Who was Jackson's mother?
