Chapter 27: The Sage Asks for Makeup Removal

"Mr. Wang, is this your way of hospitality? He's insulting us as Tian Shi!" Qin Zhong, the third Tian Shi present at the scene, was wearing a trendy suit but his angry expression made Wang Dongliang nervous.

Tian Shi were not easy to deal with.

At this moment, Fan Deyun also looked unhappy. Chu Yi's words were clearly insulting in nature.

Tian Shi were not there to perform.

"Mr. Wang, I respect you as an elder and because of what happened to Wang Ling earlier, I took out my treasured artifact to invite you all here on behalf of the ancient Tian Shi," Xu Qibai said coldly with a stern voice. "But what about this person? Although he is Wang Ling's teacher, everyone can see that he has poor character. Is such a person worthy of being a teacher?"

"Mr. Wang, if you don't drive him away now then we Tian Shi won't cooperate with you again in the future and don't come looking for us if something happens," Qin Zhong sneered repeatedly.

"This...this..."Wang Dongliang was sweating profusely; it was difficult to offend either side.

"Alright everyone stop arguing! We're all over fifty years old yet still so impulsive." Gu Tianshan spoke up when things had reached boiling point and stopped them from continuing their argument.

Qin Zhong seemed somewhat afraid of Gu Tianshan and shrunk his head while awkwardly laughing it off.

Xu Qibai also quieted down; his family had always warned him never to offend Gu Tianshi under any circumstances.

"The young man is just ignorant about our industry rules which is understandable." Gu Tianshan smiled kindly making him more convincing than the other two Tian Shis present at the scene who appeared less trustworthy.

In comparison, Chu Yi seemed to be making a fuss over nothing.

Even Wang Dongliang was slightly dissatisfied with Chu Yi at this point but he didn't say anything in front of his daughter.

Gu Tianshan had an ethereal aura and held a jade pendant in his hand. Suddenly, he flicked it with his fingers and the jade pendant flew into the air defying gravity; instead of falling down, it remained suspended steadily above the coffee table.

However, that wasn't all. Gu Tianshi's robe fluttered as if caught by a gust of wind while he stood up from his chair lightly stepping on thin air. Everyone saw that both feet were off the ground even though they were less than ten centimeters away from it which was truly shocking.

"Young man, are you satisfied?" Gu Tianshan asked with a smile but his voice thundered like lightning striking one's ears leaving everyone staring at him wide-eyed.

Everyone in the hall stared fixedly at Gu Tianshan as if their eyeballs would pop out any moment now. Fan Deyun's face changed drastically and he slapped his thigh exclaiming: "Qi surging inside your body! Gu Tianshi, you've actually reached that level!"

"Congratulations to Gu Tianshi!" Qin Zhong couldn't sit still anymore and quickly bowed deeply to show respect.

They hadn't even produced internal energy yet so compared to him they were too far behind!

"I haven't stepped into it yet; I'm half a step short." Gu Tianshan humbly said although there was a hint of pride flashing through his eyes after today's events which made him feel like no one could match him in Qing Le City.

Wang Guodong was already stunned. Everything that Gutianshan had shown completely exceeded his imagination, and he became even more awed.

"You should believe me now, young friend."

"Of course, this is just the method of a martial artist. I also have the methods of a celestial master, but there's no need to show off." Gutianshan still smiled calmly.
