Jealousy Part Two

He growls in warning and I have a feeling I may have pushed him too far. I keep forgetting I'm dealing with a dark royal fae not just a man... Their rules and customs here are different. I look down when I feel something dripping and see blood. What in the world.. I finally find my voice "Rune?" He tightens his hold again and growls as a wave of heat rolls through me.

At the same time it feels like something is tightening around my heart making it beat faster. He bites harder causing me to cry out but it's a mixture between pleasure and pain. The tightening feeling around my heart intensifies and I feel like it's burning before it quickly gives way to warmth. So warm I find myself relaxing.

Only then does he pull back and lick the spot he bit making me shudder. I want to get angry but I feel like a puddle. What the hell just happened? He whispers something in a language I don't understand and the bite mark completely disappears but now there's a small rune of some kind left in it's place.

Again I want to say something but it feels like someone has shot me with a tranquilizer and I couldn't do much more besides breathe. Rune gently washes the blood away and my eyelids become so heavy I can no longer fight them. He gently shifts me in his arms placing a kiss on my forehead before saying something else in the weird language I don't understand placing me in a deep sleep.

After I let her soak in the healing springs for a while I shift us to my room drying her off with my magic before placing her on the bed. I cover her up as I push the hair away from her face and frown. I had lost control.. When it comes to her I'm finding it impossible to keep a level head especially with the damn Vampire around.

He wants her.. I can smell it and it pisses me off. The damn Vampire has his hands all over her during the day and at night when I lay next to her I can smell him on her driving away all my sanity.

I lost my control when I brought her to the healing spring and saw all the bruises. I marked her as mine... a soul mark. Soul marks last longer than one life time and now that we are bound I wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Syn may have been born human but she was meant to be mine.. my soul mate. My other half and I'll be damned if I stand by and let another man take her away.
