Xiao Ming continued shopping in the mall until nearly closing time, when he finally bought a plush toy taller than himself upon Furukawa Shizuka's suggestion.

Fortunately, the mall offered delivery service, which could transport the item to his hotel for a hundred yuan.

It felt like a robbery, but for Xiao Ming, it was well worth it.

Leaving the mall and arriving at an intersection, Xiao Ming saw a roasted sweet potato vendor and asked Furukawa Shizuka to wait there while he went to buy two, then they continued their conversation as they walked.

Seen from behind, they appeared to have that vibe of a couple not wanting their date to end just yet.

Ding Jianwei was seething with jealousy and extremely hungry, she couldn't move when she smelled the aroma of the roasted sweet potatoes.

Though not sharing a meal together, eating the same food was something, at least.

The sweet potato vendor, an elderly man, gave her a long look before asking, "Miss, is your last name Ding?"
