Ai's father was in a state of total shock as understood the dark elves were no fools and were in fact very crafty and wicked so they know a good deal when they see one and were very dangerous to try and trick even worst if they thought they could use an justify their actions and pander to particular individuals like say an alchemist that has single handedly threw the magical community into uproar with his first auction his eyes discreetly turned to his father only for him to nod in a imperceptible manner.

Ai's father:"It would seem that it is our side that is at fault for rushing to judgement please allow us to show our sincerity and make amends"

Me:"I doubt that you have the ability to make amends with someone like me but in light of Ai's service to me I shall lower myself and allow you to try and earn my forgiveness"

The entire room becomes tense after my thinly veiled insult hit them but Ai's father keeps a strained smile while the elders use almost all their self-control to keep themselves seated as they try not to react but their facial expressions clearly show they feel but how powerless they are as they continue to sit.

Ai's father:"Thank you for your magnanimous decision mister..."

Me:"Sebastian no last name apparently my parents didn't think I deserve one even if I had one you wouldn't be qualified to hear it"

Ai's father:"Sebastian can you please refrain from insulting us further I know we were wrong to insult a noble person like you but we are trying to make amends for our earlier indiscretions"

Me:"I can't help it I was never raised because from youth till now I have always been alone the only thing I learned in all that time is that weakness is a sin and the strong are gods as they decide right and wrong"

Ai:"Master please let it go, isn't it better to have another ally than another enemy?"

Me:"Fine your right I still need to handle those already on my list before extending to others before I am asked later only Ai will be taught by me but as a sign of peace I will give two vials of youth potion to do with as you see fit"

Upon hearing what I just handed over to their clan leader everyone begins staring intensely at the two vials although it hasn't been that long since the auction the potions have already become an extremely hot topic so much so that individuals from other countries and cities have come to try and get a hold of one of them going so far as to try and put pressure on the local powers of course none have had any success as I'm currently under the dark elves protection who have enough power to defend themselves from outside influences especially after some of the things I sold directly to them according to Delru.

Ai's father:*cough*"Thank you Sebastián for your generous gift I'm sure we will find a good use for this"

Me:"I should hope so as a medium sized cultivation clan such a magnificent product should never fall into your hands under normal circumstances and it is too generous a gift for anything you could possibly have to offer"

This statement almost immediately pissed off the entire clan but Ai quickly intervened

Ai:"What master means is that he is showing great favor towards the Wu family an advantage that would not be granted to others so easily as it is well known the level of proficiency that he possesses as an alchemist who is greatly favored by the dark elves but it hard for him to express this as like most alchemist he has little to no interest outside his research making his tongue abrasive please just ignore it as his eccentricity"

Her words quickly diminishing the tension that has been built up by her masters rude and callous behavior although it didn't completely eliminate their ire it still removed most of their anger.

Ai's father:"Since you are here please allow us to hold a banquet in your honor!"

I only agreed because Ai was clearly begging me to do so with her eyes and although the banquet was last minute the event quickly became the event to attend as many guests arrived most without invitation in a shameless bid to gain access to me it got to the point where people were trying to bribe the Wu family just to be on their grounds for the off chance that I will glance at them having played politics before I knew that this was going to be a long long night of ass kissing and fake smiles if it weren't for the fact that I wanted to see what these sycophants to my fame were going to offer I would have bailed on this event immediately.
