Chapter 20 - I like you

(Mountain Ranges)

I flew in the sky while I watched Yue'er battle an Earth-level panther, she was currently completely dominating the fight, she controlled the flow of fight.

As the panther was slowly getting more and more tired, Yue'er had it completely cornered.

Blending in Ice and Water to create a terrifying wave of ice shards, the wave crashed down onto the panther, leaving it with gaping holes in its body.

The panther swayed from side to side then fell to the ground, breathing out its last breath.

Yue'er, seemingly unfazed by the death of the panther used her sword to cut a hole in the panther's head then pulled out a bright red core.

I flew down and Yue'er looked to me with bright smiling face and showed me the blood-drenched beast core in her hands.

"Good job," I patted her head as a reward which she had come to love.

Moe~ She squeaked in pleasure as her eyes closed and her mouth slightly opened.

I removed my hand from her head which resulted in a pouty look, but I nevertheless still removed it.

Hovering my hand over the core, it distorted then disappeared, after checking my spatial ring that it was in there, we continued hunting beasts.

(6 hours later)

Hazy golden rays of light were slowly disappearing as the sky became darker, the previous scorching heat was now replaced with a cool chilling cold.

Most people had started to return to each of their sects or homes while the poor and weak were left on the dirty streets with nothing.

While ¾ of the city had gone to sleep or rest, the last quarter of the city was lively and bustling with activity and noise.

The Red Light District.

The District where they were was no rest, men constantly roamed the place while women waited at the door to each building. If one had enough money or power, then girl they wanted could be theirs.

It wasn't my intention to go through the Red-Light District, but all the other gates were closed, so we could only go through the Red-Light District to find a hotel to stay at. I made sure to pull Yue'er close to me as to avoid any man that might try come to her.

Most of the men who were here were drunk, so they didn't have the reserve a man should have out in public.

Quite a lot of men approached Yue'er, thinking that she was a prostitute and offered her meagre and substantial sums to have a night with her.

Nearly all of them spoke from a distance while only a few had the audacity to try come close.

I obviously didn't let any of them get close to Yue'er and her cold indifferent face to their advances was the answer the men received.

After walking around the District, I finally found a proper hotel that didn't seem too shady or dodgy. It was still obviously a love hotel, but beggars can't be choosers.

The receptionist looked up at an extremely shy Yue'er and a confident Ken, it was a scene she had seen many times before. A young master bedding a poor beautiful girl.

Maintaining her good appearance, she smiled and said, "A night for 10 profound coins, a night in the top tiered room for 50 profound coins."

I put 10 profound coins on desk, and she handed a badge with the letters 69 engraved on it. I nodded my thanks and we walked to room 69.

"D-do you want t-to bathe t-to-together?" Yue'er turned me to in a red face as we both sat on the bed.

I nodded my head in surprise, I didn't expect her to take the initiative although it was quite a pleasant surprise.

Although I'm quite confused on why she was embarrassed, when I bathe with Ying'er and Xi'er, they don't seem particularly embarrassed.

I held my hand out and smiled, "Should we go now?"

She nodded her head shyly and squeaked out, "Can I first grab some new clothes?"

I hit my head at how dumb I was, she didn't have a spatial ring yet. I took a red silk robe that Ying'er had created in her free time and passed it to her.

"Now, let's go." I grabbed her hand gently and led her into the bath.

"Could you fill in the bath with hot water?" I asked because I didn't want to waste time by running back to grab buckets of water.

"Sure," Yue'er said in a relieved in tone at having something else to do besides trying to avoid staring at my body.

Water immediately started filling up the bathtub until it stopped just right. The mist rolling off the top of it symbolised that it was already hot.

I leaned in and kissed her cheek as thanks.

Her face that was previously focused on creating water now changed into a beet red colour. Her eyes avoided looking at me directly and constantly darted around the room.

I took my shirt, revealing my ripped chest and six pack. Her face was already beet red, now it had become smoking hot red with steam coming out of her ears.

"W-What do y-you think y-your d-doing?" She stuttered as steam continued to come out of her ears. I smirked at her embarrassed appearance and moved my face just millimetres apart from hers.

My alternating purple and neon blue eyes stared into her pitch-black eyes, unable to look away. The affection that she had and the little bit of love that was budding within her eyes compelled to look into her eyes.

Her face was no removed of the previous embarrassment she had felt before, now it was like she was in a trance, her face inched slowly into mine.

There was nothing but the sound of our heartbeats, all noise and colour were droned out, leaving nothing but each other in our eyes.

As our lips made contact, Yue'er was about to close her eyes to enjoy the sensation she had been waiting for.

However, I stared intently into her face, not allowing her to break her gaze away from me. As if we talked through telepathy, she kept her eyes and returned my stare.

The kiss slowly developed into a battle of the tongues, each trying to claim as much territory as they could. Wrestling with each other, no tongue seemed to gain a clear dominance in the battle, ending in a stalemate.

As our lips separated from each other, in between us, there was a string of saliva, enough to form a bridge across our mouths.

*Pant* *Pant*

Yue'er panted heavily, trying to regulate her breathing and not let her lust completely overshadow her judgement.

"I l-like you," She murmured as her the reality of what she just did hit her.

"You could have told me that before the kiss," I teased as her face once again, returned to a blushing state.

I smiled as I turned around and took off my last remaining clothes and said, "Shall we continue the bath?"
