Ch81. The climb

Johan understood why the warden wanted them to leave quickly as soon as he checked their supplies.

They stored everything in Johan's cell, since he hadn't been using it for a while.

Johan let out a small laugh.

They were running low on food, drinkable water, and for some reason, running water too.

"Ha..." Johan laughed nervously. "I guess we can't just outwait the storm, after all..."

He didn't know why, but everything felt just like the first time he set foot in Hollowood.

Was it that he was in the middle of a storm that he couldn't just outrun? Or the fact that he himself was feeling like he didn't know himself anymore?

'At least I still have my nervous laugh, although I do have to get rid of it...'

Only then Johan took the time to finally think about everything that he went through until now, and when he did, he felt dizzy, almost to the point of throwing up.

Wasn't it too much for a person to take in?
