A few minutes after ordering some sandwiches to go, Erick's first move was to head to the second meeting point of his network.

An abandoned hovel on the outer edge of the city center, where no one went but drug dealers, criminals and the homeless.

Erick hated that kind of place, but had gotten used to the atmosphere - and the smell - thanks to a few years of accompanying his father on business meetings so shady that they could only be held in places like this.

Inside the hovel, which was actually more like an abandoned mansion - not as luxurious in its golden age as Erick's house, of course - with three floors and several rooms, which the homeless used as temporary housing, and which the addicts used as a haven for their sins.

On the second floor, in a hall that was completely empty except for dirty sheets and a few weathered armchairs, Silas waited, shaking his knee impatiently.
