Isaac punched the wall of his cell, and a crack formed in the stone.

"Fucking Shadow Physician! I was about to kill that son of a bitch Vaughn!"

Isaac's eyes were bloodshot, and he stared at a fixed point on the wall, just above where he had hit it with his fist.

There, a picture was taped up.

In it, a child about ten years old was looking at the camera with eyes full of doubt and suspicion, being held in the lap of a blond man with almost gray blue eyes and a sarcastic smile.

As if he knew that this photo, as soon as it was taken, would end up in that very cell.

Being stared at daily exactly by Isaac.

"I'm going to get out of here and get you, my little princess. Daddy will do it, I promise you..."
