"Alric!" Alric closed his eyes when he heard the tearful voice. He did not turn and kept staring at Alex. His body was trembling a bit.
He did not have the courage to face this woman. She had done so much for him. And only asked for Alex's welfare in exchange. And yet.. He could not do it for her.
