The newly rebirthed Nora does not want the love of the man she had given her life. What she wants is to reach a position where she could look down at others and take her revenge from those who had hurt her and killed her. Even in her death, they have proved that she was a fake. “I will return everything tenfold!” this time she did not run behind her hero, her sister can have him. She would be wealthy instead. Sylvanus Mccoy had never looked down from where he was, for him life only meant perfection. Yet, he found himself attracted to a woman who made mistakes like breathing. He took a fancy to her but she avoided him. “I am teaching you romance!” he frowned when she did not cooperate with his first kiss. “Ha, i need you to teach me how to take over your business.” her chest heaved with anger but she was sure she felt something strange there too. “Ah, that. It is very simple. Marry me, and be the owner of it.” “.........”
Everly Heights is one of the best junior schools that hardly take students without taking exams. Its name is popular all over the world for best learning.
Students passing from there would get admission in the best universities in the Franacia country. But if you are dismissed from there, your future would be dark. You can go to private college or change the country. But in that country, getting good universities would be impossible.
"You got dismissed because?" The nurse looked at the letter with pity in her eyes. It was hard to get admission in Everly Heights. But many still feel blessed that they did not get selected there, because if you are not part of Everly Heights, you could not be thrown out of it.
Nora stared at the warning with cold eyes. It had been a day since her aunt had left. She was sure Sophpia was already out of the bureau and to confirm things they had sent the letter as a threat.
If she did not concede, she would be dismissed from her school because she had broken the rules of the school.
A long list of small mistakes like she had bunked the classes when she was admitted. She had broken the law of puppy love when she did not even know any boy there and much more had covered the page.
And in the last line, they were giving her last warning and asking her to come and apologize in person today and be regular to the classes from tomorrow.
If she did not do that, they would rusticate her from the school. Not only that, her fees were due and today is the last date. If she went without the fees they would not let her in.
"Ha! Hahahah!" She looked at the phone in her hands. So far, she did not have one. But in the morning, she received a delivery. It said that her family had sent it.
"For you, so that you can contact us in emergencies, your uncle." She read the note again. If anyone would hear it, they would believe that her uncle was caring though she had sent her aunt to the prison, he was still concerned about her.
Her eyes flickered with a dark ray of light. She held the phone tightly in her hands. She wanted to save the deal for her freedom but if she exchanged it with her school, it would be hard to find ways again.
The nurse noticed that Nora was not even replying anymore. She was lost in a trance while looking at the letter and then at her new mobile. She walked closer while giving her the last shot of her medicine.
"On a good note, you can be discharged today. Maybe you still can salvage the situation." she offered only for Nora to finally look at her and smile.
But the smile did not assure the nurse. She felt goosebumps by looking at that cold smile.
"Of course, I will solve the whole matter with a bottle of arsenic." her eyes went darker to give the maid a freight. She picked up the tray and left the room with a gulp.
Of course she was not afraid that Nora was asking for it for others. She felt that a sweet and weak girl like Nora could not bear rustication and was going to commit suicide.
The thought made her worried. She went to search for Doctor Max only to see Alric sitting in his cabin.
His eyes were closed as he leaned on the sofa which his legs folded. Max had an innocent kind of beauty like the boy next door and warm personality.
But everyone had a crush on Alric who was like a cold and mysterious type. His looks were cold, sharp, dignified that give him an approachable aura. The nurse stared at him for a second more when he opened his one eye and stared at her.
"Is there an emergency?" The nurse knew that Alric realized she was ogling him. But like always he ignored the women around him. She collected herself and nodded. "Max is in OT. How serious is the emergency? Can we not arrange another doctor on duty?"
He frowned, his voice was so cold that it was hard to face him face to face.
"That.. is it not a medical emergency. The matter can wait sir." she spoke hurriedly with the intention to close the door and leave. But Alric's narrowed eyes with his lips curled into a slight frown sucked all the energy from her body.
"What kind of emergency is not medical in a hospital?" he sat straighter and his eyes emitted more pressure on the young maid. She regretted staring at him. He must be taking revenge.
"That… a patient named Nora had asked for Arsenic. I am sure that she wanted to commit suicide since she is rusticated from Everly Heights. I only wanted to inform Doctor Maxmillion because she is under his care." The nurse wanted to cry in the end when Max did not react but kept staring at her.
"I swear I did not give it to the girl." she sobbed only to get a snicker.
"But you left her alone. What if she finds it from somewhere else?"
"...." she blinked as the man stood up and dusted the imaginary lint from his perfect suit.
At the age of twenty three he was already the owner of this large hospital. Everyone would have thought that he would make a joke of himself. But so far he had done such a recommendable job that he was offered another businesses but his grandfather too.
She found herself staring at him again when he took a step toward her. She braced herself. Was he coming to scold her with such proximity?
Her heart raced for some reason only for him to walk past her.
"Go and continue your work. Do not need to concern our best doctor with such foolish things."
