"Oh, it was definitely a mallet because how can someone as ugly as you couldn't even stun a rock." This is how they have communicated with each other for years, with love, of course. As they stared at each other, they just couldn't hold it in and started laughing. Reed went into the bathroom to clean up and then headed to the dining room. His parents were there talking at the head of the table his older sister Mana couldn't come back for dinner because of a test tomorrow, but his 2 little twin sisters Dale and Dallas were in their seats waiting for it all to begin.

As Reed enters the room, Dale snorts and says, "Well, finally, were you expecting us to wait for you all night? Now, let's get this over with."

As Dale speaks, Dallas ignores everyone and sits, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. Reeds mother Maria looks at them angrily and says that this is Reeds special birthday. Shouldn't they show some respect to their brother only to have Dale snort and say, "Respect to a waste not likely in my opinion you should just throw him out of the family rather then having him waste the resources for the rest of us."

Reeds' father Martin got up and told them to leave if they weren't going to show any respect to their brother only to have both sisters leave without looking back. As an awkward silence descends in the room, Reed sits and says, "It's alright they are right to have their own opinion and I haven't yet proved that I'm not a waste so it's OK." His parents calm down though they don't want to admit it. Reed has the smallest dragon mark in history as such, his dragons will is the weakest after awakening they can only hope that his dragons manifestation is strong or there son will be the weakest dragon knight in history he may even become the first person in history to fail the dragon exam which makes them even more sad. But this is Reeds' big day, so they put on happy smiles and have dinner.

After dinner, as Reed prepares for bed, he uses 1 of the nourishing agents and then goes to sleep.

As Reed sleeps, his older sister calls their parents. "Are things really so bad for Reed father you know his dragons will may be weak, but the manifestation could be very powerful he still has a great chance to succeed." Mana says with a hopeful expression, but the look is short-lived as her father gives the bad news."Reed could have had such a chance, but as he was resting, I had an assessor look at his will and manifestation shadow. The results were terrible he will not have a strong manifestation to help him." With this terrible news, Maria starts to cry for her son, but Mana is undaunted. "So what if the assessor says he won't amount too much? We can still help him with resources." However, Martin shakes his head."I can't give him the necessary resources to get to a strong enough level without taking from your sisters. I want to help him as much as you do, but I have to think of the whole family, not just a single member."

With those happy words, the rest of the family went to bed to rest up for tomorrow.

At 6:30 a.m., Reed gets out of bed and uses the nourishing agent, then heads to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Teresa comes in to wake Reed up only to see him just finish dressing for the day she looks at him in disbelief. "You actually woke yourself up. Are the sun's rising from the south now." As she rises an eyebrow at him

"No, I was just hoping not to have to see your ugly mug in the morning ruining my appetite."

With that, they both laugh as they walk to the dining room. Reeds parents were just finishing breakfast as they walked in Maria. Seeing her son up at this time can't help but say the sun's are really rising from the south now. Teresa and Reed just laughed as Martin kissed his wife goodbye for the day. As Reed eats breakfast, he has some small talk with his mother, which has been a nice thing for him since the last time he saw her. After breakfast, he doesn't bother going to school, but instead, he heads to the guild market he needs to make money to prepare for cultivation, so he has decided to make an alchemical potion known as a breakthrough potion as the most common dragon knights strength is more or less at the peak of Martial Master or Magic Master a breakthrough potion for that grade would make him alot especially since his formula can guarantee a 100% chance of a breakthrough while the formulas the other alchemists can guarantee is 10%. Future knowledge is so helpful, isn't it. After getting the materials, Reed heads back to his room to run into his younger sisters as they are leaving for school without even a look at their brother they leave, but Reed doesn't care it's just how things are.

As Reed makes the potions, he thinks about the events at the beginning of his time as a dragon trainee. The experiences he went through were excruciating even when he beat the odds and became a dragon knight his life didn't get better they just got worse. As he starts to think about his next steps, he makes potions and time moves.

By 1:45, he has created 31 potions 15 for the master rank 8 for the grandmaster rank 5 for the lord rank and 1 each for the sovereign and king rank these potions will help those at the peak of their rank breakthrough to the next rank and they all have a 100% guarantee he also made an attempt for the immortal rank but it only has a 50% chance of a breakthrough. Next, Reed heads for the best auction house in the city, The Shira Auction House of Wonders. This auction house is said to have had everything under its roof at least once in its long history. As such, it's the best place to go.
