But it was too late. The strengthened guardian had disappeared from its place, and Shiva noticed its fist hurtling toward his face.
Before the blow could land, the corruption giant intervened, placing one of its massive hands between Shiva and the guardian.
Despite lacking eyes, it sensed the guardian's movements through disturbances in its surroundings.

The giant's hand collided with the guardian's fist, deflecting the lightning-fast attack.
Shiva wasn't able to sense that attack because he was relying on his eyes to follow the guardian, but the corruption giant was different.
Aghor lacked eyes and even other sensory organs like ears and nose. But in exchange it sensory organs on its skins which helped it to perceive its surroundings.
"Good work, buddy." Shiva snorted at the guardian while praising the corruption giant, enraging the strengthened foe.
