Return of the Demonic Emperor!

He stood as the Tower's most formidable being, wielding unparalleled power and commanding an army of undead that struck fear into all who beheld it. The strongest knight and demonic dragon were his loyal servants, and his nine apostles instilled terror throughout the tower. He was an absolute who had ultimate power under heaven. Yet... "Damn it!" Even the tower's mightiest being couldn't stop the invasion from 'THEM.' He watched in silence as his demonic dragon fell from the sky, its wings torn apart, and his strongest knight collapsed under the relentless siege of unfathomable monsters. "What the hell are THESE THINGS!!??" One by one, his apostles fell, and his entire undead army was crushed into oblivion. "Not like this!" As the tower lay in tatters, threatening to crumble at any movement, the demonic emperor roared. "I am the demonic emperor! Do you think I will go down that easily? If the heavens want to crush me, I will become a sword to pierce through it!" In a desperate attempt to save himself, the tower's mightiest being activated a forbidden spell that should never have been cast. "I shall return again!" He roared. "And when the time comes, I shall slaughter you all, bastards!" Swearing vengeance, the flow of time and space was shaken up, and the demonic emperor found himself back in the past, before the Tower's arrival!! *** Update Schedule: 2 chapters per day on weekdays and 1 chapter on weekends -> 12 chapters per week Join discord channel for reference images and more -> https://discord.gg/B49NH5v6J9

Typhon Defeated!

Shiva had been fighting the Typhon with so much concentration that he almost forgot about the time.

An individual would only be given the time of 15 minutes to defeat a monster despite how strong or weak it could be and Shiva just had one minute remaining in those 15 minutes to defeat Typhon.

"Tell me the important things sooner, you damned sword!"

Shiva cursed, his expression hardening into a mask of grim determination. He could feel the power of Erebus surging through the sword, a tsunami of primal force that begged to be unleashed.

'I wanted to avoid using this if possible.'

Looking at the chained beast with all its serpentine heads severed, Shiva closed his eyes and centered himself with a few calming breaths. When they reopened, they blazed with unyielding determination. Settling into a battle stance, he called out.

"Death Demon Style, Third Move...."

The serene river of mana flowing through his body churned into a raging torrent as he pushed his body and mind to the limit!

"Tempest's Fury"

With those words, Shiva charged forward, Kurukaze clutched in both hands as he poured every ounce of his being into the strike. The blade seemed to elongate, stretching forth like an obsidian spear as it closed the distance between Shiva and his foe.

Typhon, sensing the mortal danger it faced, launched a desperate counterattack. Molten lava spewed forth from its gaping maw, a torrent of searing destruction that would have incinerated anything in its path.

But Shiva did not falter. He moved forward, undaunted, his body sheathed in a glowing aura of darkness that seemed to part the lava around him, leaving him untouched yet burning under the heat of scorching fury.

{You damn lunatic!} Kurukaze who took the full brunt of the lava on its bood screamed in pain. {Rushing headlong into certain death...Fucking lunatic?}

Yet despite its protests, the ancient sword pressed onwards alongside its wielder, splitting the beast's fiery breath as they neared their target.

Shiva's skin burned, and melted, and blisters appeared, yet oblivious to the pain, he pressed forward, his sole focus fixed on one objective: to slay the beast.

Soon Shiva was in front of the infernal monster, "Die you damned beast!"

With a final, earth-shattering roar, Shiva plunged Kurukaze into the heart of Typhon's maw, burying itself deep within the beast's gullet.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still, the air charged with an electric tension that crackled like static across Shiva's skin.

Then, with a thunderous concussion that shook the very foundations of the void, the power of Erebus detonated, unleashing a cataclysmic wave of force that ripped through Typhon's form like a hurricane through a field of dried leaves.

The beast's body contorted and convulsed, its flesh seeming to warp and distort as the ancient god's power ravaged it from the inside out. Bones snapped like kindling, muscles tore asunder, and organs ruptured in a spectacular display of visceral carnage.

When the maelstrom finally subsided, all that remained of the once-mighty Typhon was a smoldering ruin, little more than a twisted mass of charred flesh and shattered bone. Shiva stood amidst the wreckage holding onto Kurukaze, its blade pulsing with an otherworldly radiance, as if sated by the destruction it had wrought.

Shiva staggered, his body drained and battered. But before he could hit the ground, the corruption giant appeared by his side, providing one of its arms to support him.

And right then the voice of the tower was heard.

<You have defeated the tenth wave!>

<Your strength has increased by 10!>

< You have made an unprecedented achievement before entering the Tower>

Many messages appeared in front of Shiva but he was not in a mood to see them all.

Amidst the void of darkness, a triumphant grin adorned Shiva's features as he leaned on the giant for support, surveying the aftermath of their titanic clash.

{You! You are more insane than I thought...} Kurukaze's voice echoed, laced with a weary sort of satisfaction despite its grumble.

Shiva let out a ragged chuckle, ignoring the lancing pain through his battered body. "Get used to it," he replied with a weary grin. "We'll be together for a long time."

At the same time as Shiva defeated Typhon, a message reverberated through every corner of the Ruined Tower.

Every resident felt the tremor, followed by a series of messages that flashed before their eyes:

<A challenger has cleared all ten waves in the Trial>

The first message alone was enough to stun the tower's inhabitants, but a brief yet powerful declaration swiftly followed it.

<A Star has appeared>

And the tower was thrown into chaos!
