Chapter 3 Introduction to Cultivation.

Paul found himself on a familiar white platform along with a crowd of people who were confused and scared.

-Silence!

A voice that was impossible to ignore spoke, and the whole platform turned silent.

Everyone was looking at the source of the voice which was a floating ball of light the size of a basketball.

-You will soon be transported to another world with only the clothes on your back and there you will compete for survival with other races as well as many kinds of beast.

To make this a fair competition you all received a spatial storage space that you can access by simply thinking about it.

Inside there is a scroll that contains the information you will need to start your cultivation.

That is all I have to say.

I wish you good luck.

After those words, the ball of light started to disappear.

-Wait a moment, can we select the place that we will be sent to?

Paul asked hurriedly.

-You can but in exchange for that, you won't be able to choose any place near a settlement.

The ball of light said and for a moment it shone a bit more brightly and there was a map before everyone.

If you wish to choose the place that you will be sent to then use this map the rest of you will be sent randomly.

-Why Is this happening?

One of the women asked while crying.

-Because the gods ordered it to happen.

The orb of light answered and disappeared.

Paul approached the map and started looking at it, searching for a good spot to be sent into.

He remembered where his father's family was sent last time and he wanted to be far away from them.

Finally, he decided to choose a place near a river as this could give him some resources that he needed at the beginning.

The place was also far enough away from his family that he could be sure that they wouldn't find him.

The moment he chose the spot he started glowing again and a moment later he was in the forest surrounded by tall trees and he heard the river in the distance.

The first thing he did was to take out the scroll and see if something had changed, but it was the same information as the last time.

Name: Paul Marshal

Race: Human

Sex: Male

Talent: Dual cultivator.

Physique:Energy purifying physique.

Other than that The scroll contained a basic Qi cultivation technique and a basic mana cultivation technique as well as an introduction to cultivation and the first ten stages of booth cultivation forms.

Cultivation Qi:

Body cleansing stage

Bone refinement stage

Muscle and tendon refinement stage

Blood refinement stage

Soul refinement stage

Vision refinement stage

Hearing refinement stage

Smell refinement stage

Touch refinement stage

Taste Refinement stage

Cultivation Mana:

Apprentice stage

Lesser mage stage

Mage stage

Sorcerer stage

Master mage stage

Magus stage

Supreme magus stage

Wizard stage

Supreme wizard stage

Supreme magician stage

These were the first ten stages and each stage was further divided into a hundred levels that were harder and harder to reach the more you advanced.

Paul of course knew this all and without wasting any time he found a spot to sit down and started to cultivate.

He remembered what the feeling was like and almost immediately he felt the energy entering his body.

He still remembered that it took him nearly a week to feel the mana for the first time in his past life now he had done it within a few seconds.

In less than five minutes he had his first Breakthru reaching the first level of the apprentice stage of mana cultivation.

Within a short time, he had reached level 5 and with that, he could use his mana to create fire, water, and some other things but it would deplete his mana pool very fast if he wasn't careful.

-Let's get started then.

He said to himself and started to collect some dry wood to use as a firewood.

Paul walked in the direction of the river gathering everything that he deemed useful, mostly firewood and some bigger branches that he intended to use as building materials for his shelter.

Once he reached the river, he was shocked as it was at least half a kilometer wide and had a strong current.

After some more walking along the bank of the river, he found a shallow place that was shielded from the main current by a curve and decided to make this place his temporary home.

Paul remembered that he saw a way to build a shelter without using any rope or nails and he decided to try it out as right now he was lacking in equipment.

It took him a few tries and a lot of cursing before he finally had something like a roof over his head and a place to sleep in that was softer than the ground since he filled the shelter with grass.

Preparing a fireplace was way easier, all he had to do was get some rocks and form a circle with them before starting a fire with his magic.

Paul looked at his simple housing and fireplace with pride since this was his first creation.

Thinking about what to do next Paul concluded that he needed something that could cut and also he was in dire need of a weapon.

Striking two rocks that he took from the river he managed to chip away enough of one of them to create a stone knife.

As for the weapons, the only things that he could make for now were a wooden spear and a meter-long club.

It wasn't much but in a fight with any beast, those weapons would do much better than his bare hands.

Paul worked most of the day and was now tired, especially since he was sent into this world at night but arrived here in the morning and he didn't have any sleep since then.

It was getting dark and he wasn't a big fan of wondering this place in the dark so he decided to go to sleep.
