30 minutes later. Amara and Ian were still in the car, they were now one hour thirty minutes from the airport, they had not yet exited the forest because the driver was driving slowly today. "Ian can I ask you something?" Amara asked looking at him. "Yeah go ahead." Ian said. "Why did you do all those horrible things that you did to me back then?" Amara asked him. Ian sighed, he knew that she was going to ask him thus question sooner or later. "Because of the hatred that I had towards your father." He said. "Why did you hate him?" Amara asked him. "Your father did a so many horrible things to my family, especially my mother." Ian said, Amara was confused because she knew her father as a nice, kind and carrying man that always helped those in need of help. "I wasn't born into a wealthy family like you, my parents weren't wealthy. My dad used to work in a restaurant and my mom was a stay at home wife. My grandfather was a plumber and he didn't earn enough money to meet all of our daily needs so we all had to depend on the money that my dad made as a waiter,and well when I was born my dad had to work extra jobs just so he could get extra money to take care of me. When I turned 4 it was discovered that I had brain tumor and I had to undergo surgery quickly because if I didn't then I was not going to leave long. The money for my surgery was way too much and my dad didn't have even 20% of it. Him and my grandfather worked extra jobs but the money was still not enough. My grandparents were speechless and they didn't know what to say or do at the moment and I was just sitting on the floor unaware of the situation but seeing my mom cry I knew that something wasn't right. After a week of them searching for extra jobs, the money was still not enough and now they had no choice but to call your dad. Dad was against at first but then he realized that he had no choice and that time I was running out of time, and mom had no choice too if she wanted to save me then she would have to sell herself to your dad, and well she did even though she felt disgusted, there was nothing that she could do about it. Then that day my father made a promise to himself and us that he would make our lives better because he hated seeing us like this and then yeah... My dad entered the business world and he even surpassed your dad and your dad tried by all means to ruin mom and dad's image,and he dud succeed at one time but my parents managed to fix everything. "And me?... You know what, I don't blame you. Maybe if I was in your shoes I would have done the same thing. But I'm still not changing my mind about leaving." Amara said. "Yeah, I respect that, but trust me I still have a lot of hatred in my heart for your father." Ian said. "He deserves it." Amara said. When Ian first started talking about all the horrible things that her father dud to Ian and his family, Amara didn't want to believe it, but Ian's eyes were full of hurt, sadness and hatred when talking about it. So Amara thought that maybe he was telling the truth and that his father wasn't the man that she thought that he was, and that was painful to hear, because she always looked up to him, and that she was proud of him, but today he has turned into nothing but a monster.
