people say that fate cannot be changed and that what ever is written cannot be erased but is that entirely true, what if we had the ability to chose our fate what if we had the power to change our life ,but I guess I learned that too late.

It all started in the night of December 1980 it was a cold night I believe I just got out of a fight with my parents about something stupid but I was fed up with every thing so I decided to take a small walk and think it over, so I got my coat and rushed outside the house, I was so blinded with thoughts that I didn't know what I was doing or where I was going even, I just kept walking and walking non-stop ,but all of a sudden I stopped in the middle of the road for some kind of reason it was like I couldn't control my body I felt paralyzed but then I heard someone honking at me with his car and he was shouting with all his might "MOVE OUT OF THE WAY I CANT STOP MY CAR"

I was shocked I couldn't move no matter how much I tried I just couldn't I just stood there watched the car as it approached me with high speed I just knew I was doomed, but then I felt like everything around me stopped the car stopped moving but I could still see it approach me the wind stopped ,and all of a sudden I saw a blue light from far away so I decided to approach it but I was frozen ,and all of a sudden I heard a snap that made me able to move again I let out a sigh of relief and approached the blue light slowly as I was walking I heard a deep voice call out my name and said "Mary Huston I am the death god I came here to collect your soul ,but I will give you two choices and you chose", I was a bit shocked as I saw a tall handsome black haired man standing near that blue circle . I nodded my head and replied "yes… and"

he laughed and said "you humans are still the same you never change I see always afraid of the unknown, anyway your first choice is to get crashed by this car or to travel to the future and be trapped in the body of a high school girl"

I was stunned I felt so confused I was clearly not afraid and yet he is saying things that make it sound like I am trembling in fear so I answered "and why would you give me another chance"

he replied "the other gods said that you have something special in you" I put on a serious face and said "something special" he placed his hand on his neck and closed his eyes and said "they said that you have something special that will be unlocked soon and that if you chose to die the balance of the universe will be gone ,so what will you chose? " I was really confused I wanted to live I wanted to see this special thing , so I took a long breath and said " I think I am going to take your offer and travel in time"

The moment I said that I heard a snap and the blue light opened up to a huge circle, I gasped as I felt wind that felt like a tornado come from that huge circle I looked at the death god and asked "so what exactly is this blue circle"

he looked at me and said this is called the gate of fate it allows us to travel between time and universes but only holy souls and upper ranks are able to create it"

I looked at him with curiosity and said in a weird tone "holy souls" he looked at me and said "in my world the upper world there are five ranks the lowest one is guards whom are responsible for protecting the upper world ,then comes the soul keepers whom are responsible for taking care of wondering souls and imprisoning them until the gods find a place for them ,next comes the holy souls ,holy souls are divided into two groups the first group takes command and help the soul keepers find wondering souls through out the universes , and the other group are souls that are spread across the world and they usually help people when needed and they are responsible for the safety of this world and then comes the commanders, commanders work directly under the commands of gods their job is to assure that every thing is okay and that every one does there job ,lastly comes gods and they are like me ,and they are the mightyest creature of them all ,they've got magical powers and every God has his own work and power, and in my world there are special tests that allow you to get promoted if you pass".

I looked at him with surprise and said "so what you are telling me is that if I enter this gate of fate I will travel in time", the death God seemed a bit disappointed but he didn't say a thing about it ,he just nodded his head I was really amazed and excited so I ran straight to that gate of fate and stood right in front of it ,it almost sucked me in but I stood firm and called the death God.

I stayed calling him but he wasn't answering me so I closed my eyes for a second to shout at him but then I heard his voice near me telling me let's go ,I started to stumble and I started asking things like "b-but h-how y-you were just there standing" he looked at me with a smirk and said "magic" he grabbed my hand and jumped into that circle and I was pulled behind him like a dummy. For a moment there it felt peaceful so I opened my eyes and looked around it was like I was in space the place was filled with colors and there were lots of white dots it was really mesmerizing ,but what made me really sad is that the scene didn't last long as we were moving in a very high speed and before I knew it I was in the future.
