Family Dinner

"Brother are you awake" A clam and quiet voice of my sister sounded outside from the door.

I got up from the bed, moved towards the door and opened it.

"Happy Birthday brother" A beautiful girl with black hair like a waterfall flowing down till her waist and crystal clear blue eyes greeted me. Her black hair shined like a starry night. Similarly, her seductive blue eyes were capable of drawing in the attention of both men and women alike who looked at them.

In contrast, her ivory white skin shined without a hint of blemishes. And as if to show its beauty off to the world.

She is my big sister Lena Quentin, she is one year older than me.

"Thanks. Did you prepare a gift for me?"

"I did." She said with a cheerful expression."close your eyes first brother".

"Well as you wish." I closed my eyes and waited for a while. Soon, I felt her putting something around my neck.

"You can open your eyes now"

I opened my eyes and looked down, there was a green coloured leaf-shaped necklace hanging on my neck, to be honest, it's pure and simplistic.

It is beautiful in its own unique way.

"Do you like it brother? see I have one as well. I created it myself," Lena said with an embarrassed expression as she showed me a similar necklace with blue colour hanging around her neck.

I could not help but grin when I heard her.

"Beautiful as my beautiful as my sister" Then, before she could react, I hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek. Her body sure is soft and fair as a fairy.

...And Woah those twin peaks sure are big and fleshy.

"Mm." Lena blushed a little and a faint redness appeared on her cheeks but she neither reject my hug nor my kiss.

My big sister is only close to me in the family as we grew up together after our mother's death, she has a very strong personality on the outside but well she has a cute side as well which is exclusive to me.

"Sister let's go, it should be time for breakfast " I then turn around and said to my sister. Instantly, my expression turned serious. Lena also understood the situation and quickly adjusted her emotions.

Then I got the lead followed by Lena as we both made our way towards the dining room.

As soon as we entered the dining room we saw a middle-aged blonde hair man scornfully looking towards me.

"You are finally here."

"… I'm sorry, father," I said with an expressionless look and bowed my head slightly. "I just finished my morning training and came immediately."

My father frowned briefly but he did not say anything else. Instead, the woman seated beside him spoke with a displeased tone. "Don't you know that breakfast begins exactly at eight o'clock? How do you dare to make us wait for you!?"

I frowned and looked to the empty seat beside her and sat down while Lena sit beside me. "But I'm not the last one here."

"You…" The woman seated beside my father growled in rage, but before she could continue, my father interrupted.

"Enough!"

Both of us stopped.

"Leon, take your seat. And you, Lily, it's unbecoming of you to argue with a kid. Is it impossible for us to have a normal breakfast!?"

"Hmph!" The woman retracted her gaze unwillingly, but not before giving me a vicious glare.

I simply shrugged in my mind and sat down.

Seeing it, my father shook his head tiredly and sighed.

Allow me to explain the situation a bit.

I am Leon Quentin fourth child in my family and today I turned 18.

I have two older half-brothers, one younger half-sister and one older sister. My father is the head of the Quentin family one of the three strongest families in the empire, Earl Claus Quentin, and he is married to my stepmother, Lily Herra. My mother died shortly after giving birth to me, Her name was Cina Farray from Farray house it is also a Strong family of nobles in the Empire but not comparable to the 3 strongest noble houses.

I inherited black hair and eyes from my mother while Lena inherited mother's black hair and Father blue eyes.

Currently, seated around the table are my father, my step-mother Lily Herra, my first brother Alan Quentin, my third sister Lena Quentin beside me, my younger half-sister Freya Quentin and my second brother, Bryan, who is not here yet.

As the fourth child of one of the Strongest 3 noble houses of the Arcadian Empire my status is pretty high; but in the family, my and my sister Lena situation is not pretty good.
