Chapter 106

"You know, I am really upset tonight." Mara said and leaned her head on his shoulder.

"About what?" Ryuu asked.

"I feel so upset that Ace keeps on checking my background." Mara replied which made Ryuu a bit surprised. Still, she continued. "Can he just leave me alone and mind his own business?"

"Jester? But why? Did he do something to you?" Ryuu finally asked.

He thinks that Jester is acting really weird every time he sees Mara. He never suspects him romantically liking Mara. But Jester is suspiciously kind and too lenient while dealing with Mara.

"I guess no one can really keep a secret forever, huh." Mara said instead of answering his question. "I am starting to get tired of playing hide and seek with him."

Ryuu squeezes Mara's shoulder to remind her that he will stay with her to listen to the things she will say.

"Ryuu, I have a confession to make." Mara softly said.

"Okay. I am listening."
