Bomb Attack (2)

We meet Macy in her room. He wearing the clothes that I bought for her when we shopping at the mall. She smiling when see us arrive.

"Doctor Sullivan isn't the bomber, neither did I"

"We know that Macy, let me guess, the spirit from children that killed during the first bomb attack telling you about this right?"

"You right Mr. Jones and there will be another bomb attack today"

What? Another bomb attack? I immediately approaching Macy to get the detail

"Where? Where's the bomb target? When it will explode?"

She looking in another direction,

"Ah, Mr. Jones aura is too strong, it's deflecting the spirit away"

Dispirited I return on Sam side while complaining

"She said my aura too strong and deflecting spirit away Sam"

"Be patient, partner, who knows that spirit will return?" said Sam while patting my shoulder.

"Oh they're back" suddenly Macy said something and look to a certain direction and look like listening

"I understand. They say the next bomb target is Arthur J. Chester Elementary School"

"Really? Macy, you come with us. Sam, call the station to send the bomb squad to Arthur J. Chester Elementary School immediately"

"You got it, partner"

Three of us hurriedly leave the hospital to go to the Arthur J. Chester Elementary School, where the next bomb will happen. We seem the first one who arrives there because I haven't seen any police or bomb squad there.

"Macy, can you show me the location of the bomb?"

"Okay, follow me"

We entering the school and walk along the corridor. Until we arrive in a class, Macy suddenly stop

"The bomb is here"

She's pointing the classroom in front of us.

"Okay, Sam, you go to the principal room and ask them to evacuate the school, Macy, you stay here, don't go anywhere. I will talk to the teacher inside and ask her to evacuate the student from the class"

"Roger that Rick"

"Okay"

After knocking on the door, I enter the class and speak with the teacher. At first, she looks shocked but after I told her what she should do, she immediately regains her calm and does as I say to evacuate her student.

I give a sign to Macy to enter the class.

"Macy, do you know where the bomb was hidden?"

She nodded and pointing a filing cabinet in the corner of the class. I open the filing cabinet carefully.

On the last drawer, there's a suspicious box laying in the back of a drawer.

"Rick! The bomb squad is here"

Sam arrived at the right time with the bomb squad officer. The bomb squad officer does his job carefully. He inspects the container to find if there's a trap mechanism that will incite the bomb to explode if the container was opened. After making sure there's no trap, he carefully lifts the lid of the container. Inside the box, there are many metal tubes that connected with many wires. There's also a watch on top of those tubes. There are no mistakes that box is a time bomb that places here to explode and damage the school.

"Can you disarm this bomb?"

I ask the bomb squad officers. He looks distressed and sweat popped in his forehead.

"I don't know. This arrangement is complicated and I don't know if I have enough time to disarm it"

"The bomb will be exploded in four minutes forty seconds, please evacuate immediately"

Macy suddenly speaks the time of the bomb explosion.

Me and the bomb squad officer is looking at each other. I look at my watch, the time still ticking.

"Can you disarm in four minutes?"

"How she knows the time of the explosion? Is she the bomber?"

Three minutes fifty seconds…..

"No she' not and I'm believing her!"

The bomb squad officers still hesitate to leave.

Three minutes thirty seconds....

"God damn it! If you not sure you can disarm it then leave, don't throw away your life here"

"Okay! Let's leave"

Finally, the bomb squad officers give in and leave the classroom with us. Three minutes later when we about to leave the school building, a loud explosion come from the classroom that we left. Smoke, fire and shattered glass and debris spread to everywhere.

The firefighter who already standby in the schoolyard immediately does their job to extinguish the fire. Luckily, all school students and teacher already evacuate and no casualties or injuries happen in this incident.
