Chapter 2 Chris Meets John and Discovering a Connection

Two hours later Somewhere bellow the mansion Chris finds a large room that's larger than the others and only contains a few medical instruments connected to a strange cylinder like pod that the medical devices show what one would expect and from these he can see that what's inside is humanoid and has some resemblance to a living human since there's a heart monitor and a brain wave monitor connected to the pod " there was no mention of this room on the computer i accessed so whats inside the pod a monster like what i have seen throught the mansion and this lab" after talking to himself Chris finally noticed a computer next to the pod and made his way to it inspecting the computer and it's contents luckily whoever logged in before the mosters appeared was still logged in allow Chris to look at the computers contents and what he found caused him a major shock there was actually a living person in the pod who had been for all intent and purpose been experimented on using some sort of virus that's different then what makes the monsters I have seen and unlike these monsters the virus seems to be in perfect balance with the persons cells unfortunately the documentation ended there one can only assume that's when the monsters started to appear.

After reading that Chris decided he should not leave the person behind since they had been used as an experiment it would be the right thing to set them free maybe they knew something that could help escape this hell after Albert and Jill are found so Chris looked through the computer to see how to open the pod and to his suprise is was fairly easy and there was even a document with the required access code to initiate the opening sequence so Chris follow what the document said and input the code not long after he did all the noises from the medical equipment stopped and the sound of liquid draining was heared this lasted for less than a minute before the pods front moved forward and than lifted revealing a man who looked well built but with a breathing mask over his mouth and nose not long after Chris saw the man said man began to move opening his eyes to reveal crimson red irises looking at his surroundings before he took the mask of and spoke in a hoarse voice " who are you your not the usual scientist who wakes me to do tests and take my blood" he looks at Chris as he speaks as if asking for his response out of distrust " I am not a scientist I work for the police or more specific Racoon City Police S.T.A.R.S unit the scientists you are familiar with are either dead or become monsters who hunt the living" after Chris finished the man looked at him in shock by his expression you could see that he had a hint of relief in them showing he was happy that the scientist were gone and from what the man Infront of him said he was able to be free again after so long being an experiment he had forgot what it was like to be free.

After calming himself and using his hands pulled himself out of the pod surprisingly he did not need to stabilise himself after being in the pod for god knows how long once he was out he turns to Chris and speaks " i guess I should thank you for waking me otherwise I would be stuck in that pod asleep without being aware of what's going on by the way what should I call you" the man looks at Chris waiting for his answer and Chris did not take long to introduce himself then turn the question back at the man "right how rude of me you can call me John although I have not used the name since I was taken it was the name my mother gave me at birth" Johns response sounded cold but also showed a hint of pain as he spoke his name after the brief introduction Chris filled John in on what was going on and asked if he new a way to escape unfortunately John shook his head in response indicating he had only been in this room and the lab adjacent to this room saying the rest of the facility is a mystery as he was brought here in the pod while he was asleep.

Not long after they finish talking to each other Chris hands him a gun from one of the Bravo team corpses he had seen making his way here it was only a handgun since Chris was unsure if John would even be able to shoot anything bigger despite how well built he looked he had never touched a firearm and spent most of his time in forced sleep in the pod with John armed now they made their way out of the large room and come out in the same hallway the Chris had used to get into they both notice a few undead that were at the end of the hallway that leads to the only place Chris has not been meaning that it probably the only place left to look for both escape and Chris surviving team members so without much thought they both make their towards the undead and shot at them before Chris notice John shoots fine wth the handgun but he is not aiming for the head " shoot the head it's the weak spot" hearing Chris say this John corrects his aim shooting at the head instead of the body like before due to there being two of them now the undead were killed relatively quickly.

After reloading to make sure they both had a full clip of ammo to shoot just incase there were more undead or other monsters that could appear they both approach the door with caution just incase there was something on the other side after reaching the door Chris points his gun at it and motions for John to open it only to see a man wearing a bulletproof vest with a shirt under it with the same logo that Chris had on his however surprisingly John new who this man was he had met him before "Albert why are you here" Chris looked at John I suprise "John how do you know Albert" not giving John the time to reply Albert points his gun at them and replys for John" he knows me because i work for Umbrella and i have to thank you Chris you brought me one of my mission objectives right to me to thank you i will show you the future a beauty of evolution so drop your weapons" due to the fact Alberts already got his gun pointed at them and they had lowered theirs after seeing Albert they had to comply with him as he motioned them to go through the door behind him after they dropped their weapons after entering the room they notice it's a lab of some kind as they walk ahead they notice a giant tank at the far side of the lab and in that tank is some kind of monster as we reach tge tank Alber motions for us to stop before heading to the computerand types a few things before talking" what do you think of this beauty of evolution" Chris looks angry and even calls Albert mad for calling the monster as they were talking the tank drains out and the monster inside begins to stir and wake up.

As the monster wakes up it begins to smash on the glass of the tank that contains it not long after the tank glass shatters releasing the monster from it's confinement as it jumps out of the tank landing on the ground before moving towards Albert before we could say or do anything the monster impales Albert with It's claw after Albert's body goes limp the monster just shakes its arm as if it was trying to shake of a fly causing the body of Albert to be flung onto the ground befor the monster looks at Chris completely ignoring John and strangely John felt connected to the monster after noticing that the monster was heading towards Chris John decides to see if this strange feeling of being connected could be of use so using the name that Albert used when he talked about the monster John tries to tell it to stop" Tyrant stop do not hurt him" to both Chris and John's suprise the tyrant stops when it hears his command not only that the strange connection John felt seems to be stronger it's as if this tyrant has acknowledged John as its master.
