Prologue

Ada was writing down paperwork that Umbrella was once studying but had given up on. Wesker had demanded her to work on it until he had returned. Sure, she hated to just sit around while the fun is out there, but she wouldn't dare step beyond where she stood. She couldn't complain, either. She had everything she needed to keep herself occupied. The base has five complex obstacles, a gym, and even some guards that she could tease and flirt with.

She finished a paragraph and stretched her arms out of the desk. Her eyes peeked at the guard who had been surveying the cameras. He had his eyes at her chest. She smiled with a cat-like smile and gave a wink. The guard blushed and glared at the screens instead of her. She huffed to herself, bummed out that he was not willing to tease back.

She rolled her eyes, as she then hopped up and headed to the fridge to take a bottle of water. As she cracked the lid off, the guard stood and glared at the helipad cam, "Wesker's back," he said loudly getting everyone's attention even though it's just him and Ada in the main hall. The room was a plain white crossroads of two separate halls full of teal doors.

She stood and left the room at a quick pace and headed to the helipad on the roof. Down the hall she walked was an elevator that could lead to the roof of the facility. She ached to do a mission for him. She scoffed to herself, ashamed that she had gotten this low. The man who she liked the least has been giving her dirty and cheap jobs, and she liked it. Granted, this man practically revived her three months ago. She wouldn't dare let a man control her. She hated it, but couldn't help but be excited to see him. She knows whenever he comes back, a new adventure awaits for her. The confliction irritated her.

Ada entered the elevator and pressed the button shaped like the helipad symbol. The doors closed and she could feel the elevation rise quickly. Faster than most elevators, Ada noted. She reached the roof within twenty seconds and rushed over to the helicopter and saw the man himself over the shade of night. His blonde slicked back hair, his expressionless thin face, his needless sunglasses that were darker than the night, his torn and burnt skin, which were not expected. He opened the helicopter door and turned to look at her. Like a heartless robot, he spoke in his monotonous British voice, "Ada, how has your paperwork been?".

Of course, he is never happy to see anyone. She was curious about his wounds "Forget about that." She said in a casual tone, "What happened to you? Did someone top you?" she teased.

An eyebrow had risen from the blonde man. Ada gave a passive grin, as she waved her hands to him apologetically.

"The research Umbrella has done is pretty behind, compared to how far we are on studying the Tyrant and Genesis virus. I'm sure they won't go further since Raccoon city was a total failure for th-," She quickly silenced herself as Wesker's reddish-yellow eyes were glaring at her through the tint of his sunglasses. He didn't show it but he was seething in rage, "Oh right, sorry..." she said with a chuckle, "That was YOUR failure".

There was an intense moment of silence. Wesker stared at Ada. He took a step out of the helicopter and limped his way closer to her. Ada was smart enough to know Wesker was in no condition to show Ada her place and Wesker had no time to waste. Wesker spoke in a strained voice "...I need you to carry a package that is in the back of the helicopter..." He then limped past her, "And do it quickly." He finished as he headed off to the elevator. Ada smiled coyly as she rolled her eyes to his manliness, as she did as ordered.

Ada slid open the back door of the helicopter and was shocked to see not a package, but the corpse of a teen boy, "Wesker," she says in a groan, "when you say package..." she pointed at the boy in question, looking towards the injured British blonde.

He nodded with an evil grin, "That is why I said quickly," he reminded, "He iss a specimen that needs revival."

Ada's eyes widened in shock. To know that The Albert Wesker was willing to revive some kid. Without hesitation, she carried the boy like a rug to the elevator. Ada stood next to Wesker, "You do realize how lucky I was when you revived me, right?" Ada sternly spoke. "Bringing this kid back... That'd be a leap of faith," she scolded. It was almost as if she was worried about the kid. Knowing that this kid is in the hands of Albert Wesker, this boy would probably go through Hell and back. With the number of experiments Wesker likes to take. In her opinion; she felt it would be better for the kid to stay dead. For the kid's sake.

Wesker spoke as they headed to the medical room, "This boy has a new form of the T-virus. The T-Veronica Virus. The strain that is now in his bloodstream, can manipulate and/or completely control other B.O.W.'s with the same virus. If I had that ability, missions would go a lot more smoothly..." He finally took a breath from speaking as they entered the Infirmary of the facility. Ada placed the kid on the matted bed, "...And you will be keeping an eye on him whenever I, or the Organization, do not have an assignment for you to do."

Ada gave him a sharp glare. Her arms crossed as she responded in an upset tone, "You're kidding me, right?" She shifted most of her weight to her left leg, naturally promoting the curvature of her form. It was not often for Ada to get this moody. Nobody would blame her. She now had a side gig for taking care of a dead kid.

Wesker glared with just as much snarl back at Ada. His glowing crimson eyes flared up in a bright hue. He spoke to her as slowly and calmly as he possibly can, "Do I look like a man who kids?"

She scoffed and looked away, knowing the thin ice just got thinner, and played it off as she was not scared, "Lucky me," Her tone was cold. She then glanced at the dead boy, "...So, what's his name?"

The kid was a young, scrawny male with a bit of an overgrown bowl-cut hairstyle. He did not have much adorned onto his person other than a pair of torn and shredded camo cargo pants. On the outer side of his left forearm was a large barcode. His feet were muddy and calloused. He had a young, sharp face and a young and healthy physique. She could not deny that she was very curious where Wesker found this boy.

Wesker focused on the boy as he injected the body with something that she knew and recognized. The same stuff that revived her in Raccoon City, "Irrelevant, but if you must know, his name is Steve."

Super excited to post my first fanfiction on here! Happy to say though, this is an unfinished story that I am transferring from Wattpad. If you want to read more of it, it's all free on Wattpad.
