chapter 76

N/A: The fight against the zombie or biological weapon as you want to call it I know it wasn't a big deal, I want you to know that as I'm basing it on the games, the bosses never die the first time, so the fight will only get stronger.

Chapter 76:

Rebecca "This is how it is...my father disappeared a long time ago...I don't know where he is but throughout my investigation I realized that, umbrella had something to do with my father's disappearance, as he was one of the few who went against umbrella."

Ethan "I know it will sound a bit hypocritical of me...but I hope you find your father and I'm sorry for being suspicious...not long ago I was living in a happy orphanage without any worries...But to suddenly wake up on a stretcher, to be part of a painful experiment really makes me suspicious of all the inhumane workers in this place."

Rebecca "I understand you...the truth is the only reason I trusted the people you saw with me earlier is because I went through a lot of things with them, we cried and got scared together and saved each other's lives...it really helped us not to go crazy in this hell we are all in."

"Come on let me take a look at your wound "Rebecca said as she pulled a first aid spray from the small bag hanging at her waist.

"I really don't know if that little spray can do anything with this wound that may need several medical procedures "Ethan didn't trust the spray after all it was unrealistic that a spray could heal a wound of such magnitude.

But against all odds, the spray did help Ethan, when it apparently removed what little acid was in Ethan's wound.

But that was not the most surprising thing, but the fact that an arm was able to regenerate, thanks to Ethan's natural regeneration and the healing properties of the spray.

"Where did you get this miraculous product! " said Ethan in amazement, still not believing that his arm was now as good as new again.

Rebecca "Apparently this is one of umbrella's inventions...I still can't believe how a corporation that created such a great product capable of saving lives...ended up as it is now creating biological weapons."

At Rebecca's words...Ethan was disappointed after all for someone who had only recently come to town from a town that had virtually no such miraculous objects.

This was surprising...but to learn that a company that practically creates biological weapons...had the bright idea to create this was disappointing.

Since an idea like this was something that was impossible to believe that it came from one of the cruelest corporations or the cruelest corporation in the world...since who knew if there were other corporations crueler than umbrellas.

"Come we have to get out of this place as fast as possible "Ethan said, as he took Rebecca and his 3 lickers with him as far away from the place where the monster was still dazed in a state of momentary death.

Rebecca "Turn left...that way my group and I had opened one of the doors leading to another section of the lab."

Ethan "They sure did a lot of things in this short time that we had been separated..."

Ethan's pride was on the floor, but he let it go after all he apparently had done nothing but bang on the door the entire time they had been separated, while they had already opened a new section of the lab facility.

Rebecca "All thanks to me...although I also wouldn't have done it without the help of the others "Rebecca boasted proudly, as she was carried by Ethan.

"Is this the place where we will find your other companions? "Ethan asked, as he blindly followed Rebecca's directions, since if he led the way they would possibly go in a place where there is no escape and would be easy prey for the monster when it wakes up.

Ethan at least wanted to get to know his body better and the abilities it gave him, so he could go round two with the monster.

Rebecca "You do know that what you call a monster is actually a biological weapon, right?"

"Yes I know...besides you also call him a monster from time to time so there's no problem with me calling him by a name easier to pronounce than bioweapon "Ethan replied as he headed for a metal door at the end of the hallway.

Rebecca "First of all...okay you're right it's better to call that thing a monster than a bioweapon and secondly no my colleagues right now are in another section...."

Rebecca hearing that Ethan had something in mind was intrigued so she asked, after all a brainstorm was never bad even if she already knew about a way to finish the monster or at least a way once it was out of combat...the only problem was that she didn't have what it took to finish the monster at that moment or else it wouldn't be a problem anymore.

"What do you have in mind Mr. Genius "Rebecca said mockingly as she listened to Ethan's idea.

"my idea had to do with a type of acid that was very corrosive in quantities...that's why I wanted to ask if there was in this facility a place where you could find acid by the bucketload. "Ethan's idea was very interesting and possibly the safest when it came to finishing off the creature...but until they found that much acid it was impossible to dissolve the creature's flesh.

Rebecca "Your idea is very good but where do we find so much acid to dissolve a body of more than 300 kilos...I have a better idea because we can't find gasoline to ignite the body of the creature...so we can avoid that its healing factor works while the monster is burned".

"You're right...but where we found the gasoline in a lab where gasoline isn't used for much "Ethan said as he tried to think of where.

Rebecca "It gives a place and that's where we're headed now...since we went into the camera room...we could see me and my buddies the map and apparently the lab had a car maintenance section where we could find gasoline.

Ethan "Hop on my back we'll go faster...we have to go full speed to that place we don't have much time."

Rebecca "Why? I ask confused but was interrupted by a loud roar that shook the whole place.

Ethan "I told you when he was going to wake up he would be very angry and apparently I wasn't wrong...now we must be as quick as possible or we will die...."
