Scared

Nicholas's POV

Mother was waiting outside my house when I returned home. I had ignored her calls throughout my date with Anna, I'm sure she wants to nag me about Mia but unfortunately for her that is just the beginning.

"Nicholas, Mia is in need of your help" she said, hurrying towards me as soon as I parked my car.

I said it.

"I have no help to render to her Mother". I replied, trying not to snap at her.

She just refused to understand that it is over between us.

"She cannot spend the night over there, it will be too uncomfortable for her" she exclaimed and that made me pause on my steps.

"She was accused of something she didn't do some hours ago and was arrested while she was having dinner with her parents. That is too much Nicholas, get her out of there" she continued.

Finally!

I looked at her and pondered quietly on how to send her back home without her being upset.
