Chapter 1

I rose with the morning sun kissing my body. It was a lovely morning. I felt so refresh and ready t-

Kidding. If only my mornings could be so graceful. An angry knock woke me, the sun was gleaming on my face like it wanted to kill me. Jumping up, I fell off my bed. With a groan I asked,

" Who is it? "

" It's is me miss. You are needed in the dinning room at once. The king has requested it ", the maid said. As to who it was, I have no clue. I didn't recognise her voice and couldn't see her.

My foggy mind finally registered what  she said. I'm needed in the Dining Hall. Pronto.

" Shit ", I hissed.

I needed to act fast.I dashed towards the door on the left which led to the connected bathroom. As quickly as I can I showered and did my business  until I was standing in front of my mirror, studying my choice of ware.

I wore a loose flowy, lavender dress that landed just below my knee. I wasn't in the mood for a gown so my parents could just shove it. My long black hair was in a high ponytail and I  wore a black leather boot that was 5 inches above my ankles. Mom was going to freak but who cares? I'm a grownass woman she can't tell me what to wear. I didn't had time for make up and I don't usually use it, so with one last glance at the mirror I ran to the Dining Hall.

I was late. Like really late. Everyone was there already. Mom was talking to  dad in a hush tone. Aries was on his phone and Ember was quietly sketching in her solarian pad.

I quietly crept towards the table and I almost made it but the chair scraped on the floor, drawing there attention to me. I winced, readying myself for the lecture that I was sure to come. But it never came. I looked up curiously. They are never this quiet. They have returned to there conversation so I quietly sat down and as soon as my buttom hit the chair they stopped and give us serious looks.

" There is something we need to discuss "
