Team Rocket was one organisation that a major annoyance for Kimi during her second life.
They were far worse than they were portrayed in the anime and games.
Their organisation did have some characters like Jessie and James that rarely killed those they stole from and there were even times where they carried out a large task which ended with no casualties and a lot of Pokémon being stolen.
That may have been the case for some individuals or when a mission of theirs had went right with as little resistance as possible being involved but there were always many more incidents that resulted in far worse outcomes.
It was no longer a children's cartoon or game that only only showed enough so that it did not need to face any kind of backlash or censoring.
Kimi had to live in the real world where there were far worse things out there and those that were shown to act in moderation had been far more dangerous.
Kimi had participated in some tasks to uncover training camps for young children that were being raised as Team Rocket members or as a part of another organisation.
Each of those places was filled with orphans and those with poor fates who were taken in by those organisations and were then thrown into the training grounds to be pitted against others.
They had to fight for survival and had to learn how to be cruel enough to be able to survive there and thrive.
Those that emerged as the best among them usually turned out as the most dangerous and brutal ones.
They were devoted and loyal to Team Rocket since they had been raised that way and they were very effective in the way they carried out their orders.
There were often some more favoured members that had been previously raised up by some of the higher ups or had a relative with high ranking within the organisation so they were often able to emerge from such training grounds as the top scorers.
They were able to put others under them to create their own squad and then started off as a squad leader of some grunts.
For those with little backing, even if they had some talent, most would choose to not go against someone like that and would usually end up following under those squads leaders so it was technically a way to help build up the influence for the favoured ones.
Those training grounds were very illegal and there was many lives lost in order to raise strong and loyal subordinates so when they were located by the league, they would be shut down but there were often very few important people in the organisations that were captured.
If the organisation was well organised and had few flaws then they would not send important people that knew too much to such a location unless they had the means to fight their way out and escape safely.
Most of those grunts were usually sent out to complete small tasks or were left to gather their own power as a group or alone.
The higher ups usually left them to do as they pleased until they were needed since those grunts had no information on their organisation further than what they had experienced during the training unless they had some connection to someone else in the organisation.
They were all spread out around Kanto and as far as they could reach so it was likely that some had even been deployed to the Johto region too.
If there was any location where the power of Team Rocket was centred then it would be found in locations where their higher ups allowed them more freedom to act.
Kimi watched on as her opponents were quickly dealt with by the fast speed of Scizor and thought to herself. 'Hmm.. it was only a matter of time before I ran into them. I may have been able to escape from Veridian City but their power is not just there.
There should be a lot of power that is located around Saffron City and the surrounding cities with Celadon being one of the main locations.'
The high speed punches of Scizor sent Koffing flying away before it could release any kind of toxic gases. "Koffing!"
Mud Shot was used by Grimer as the mud was hurled towards Arbok which had slowed down its speed a little and had obstructed its vision slightly due to it getting in its eye. "Arbok!"
The small Nidoran had gradually caught up to Scizor and its pointed horn had been sent towards the Ratticate that had yet to attack which caused it to become poisoned. "Ratticate!"
The initiative to attack right away had caused Kimi to gain the advantage right away even though the three Pokémon may have had a level advantage over some of those that were in her team.
Scizor and Grimer were both the best Pokémon that Kimi used as her other identity that was Luci while Nidoran had yet to evolve.
Nidoran had received most of her attention and guidance during the battle as she used her Aura to guide it.
Its body moved back after hitting the Ratticate with its horn then retreated in time for it to avoid the fang of Ratticate.
It then turned back around and followed up with Fury Swipe as the Ratticate was raked with the claws of Nidoran three times.
The Ratticate had been faster to respond the next time and hit Nidoran away with a Quick Attack. "Ratticate!"
Even with the guidance of Kimi who was giving Nidoran the warning beforehand to create some distance and avoid the attack, the speed of Ratticate had caused the attack to hit Nidoran who was sent rolling to the side.
She climbed back onto her feet again then followed up with Fury Swipes again which had landed four times. "Nido.. Nido.. Nidoran!
The poison and continued attacks had caused Ratticate to faint and Nidoran became the winner just as Arbok was being pursued by Scizor after Koffing had been defeated by Scizor.
