Kimi left the the house and found a place to get changed into her ordinary clothes while putting away her ordinary mask and the communication device.
P had told her that it would take some time to make a suitable prototype for the mask so she did not need to wait around too much.
Kimi placed her hand into her backpack and looked over a notebook with lots of sketches and calculations inside. "I hope that he does work with me otherwise my efforts were in vain. After all.. his name was written on what I had retrieved before my death. If there is anyone that would understand it then it would be him."
She needed P for his technical support but also because of his genius in developing certain types of technologies.
The files that Kimi had to retrieve before her death were what had been developed by others after his death so it was no coincidence that Kimi had come looking for him the moment that she had left Viridian City.
The meeting in the black market was a welcomed surprise but she could not approach him there because he would quickly escape.
Her being able to find him and know about him suggested that she had the ability to track him down if he ran away and that she had easily dug up information about his past.
For a hacker who had been used to hiding himself, having his information exposed was very dangerous but he was also made aware of the dangers he would be in if he continued staying where he was.
Kimi did not suggest they should work together or he would work for her using a forceful method but instead tried to suggest ways in how they could help each other which had made him more accepting to the idea.
Her aura sense allowed Kimi to detect his unease and that most times, he was on the verge of taking action to protect himself so she had to choose a gentler approach rather than a forceful one.
She smiled as she looked over the notebook. 'If we do work together then I can gradually return them to the original owner and have them developed once I have the funds. One thing that is surprising is that he has two artificial Pokémon, I wonder if he has already progressed enough to understand the creation of artificial types?'
The old man codenamed P had not been busy during his time in seclusion and had been working on collecting information from other places thanks to his hacking abilities so it was not too shocking for him to have gained some information in that area then applied it to develop his own Pokémon.
Voltorb and Electrode were the results of a certain type of energy being exposed to Pokéballs so there were some places that had already figured out how to create them but the method was not widely known while the Porygon research was a tightly held secret too.
It was not until later that the evolution methods of Porygon were discovered so most people who had them would be stuck with a Porygon that was unable to evolve.
Kimi placed her hand on her chin thoughtfully. 'Luckily within that research.. there were some key parts of information which were needed to complete it. We will need his Porygon to evolve if we wish to further the research.'
There were some places that had data about the evolution methods which were essentially like a system upgrade to improve the storage and processing of information so old man P would be able to put together an upgrade for his Porygon.
Kimi started walking off in the distance after placing the notebook back in her bag and putting it over her shoulder. 'I will give the information on the upgrade once I know that he is willing to work with me.'
In any kind of spy, vigilante or criminal enterprise, there was a need for someone skills in certain areas to provide additional support to the person who was taking on the danger.
A skilled hacker could provide excellent information gathering and help to handle the other details of an operation like the maps, security and response times of the police.
A skilled technician could provide support with creating useful support gear to help protect the body while others would be tailor made for a variety of different situations.
Anyone within someone like that would just be running around in the streets blindly looking for things to do and would always be responding to the problems around them after or as they happened while a single person could improve the overall efficiency and allow for an operation to be planned in advance.
A little later in the day, there was a small wooden house that was on its own nearby the Diglett cave which was slightly east of the route leading into Pewder City.
It was quiet and no were very few sounds while there was a small figure dressed in camouflage clothing with mud over her face lying in the tall grass quietly with a Growlithe and Eevee by her side.
There was no movement for either of them which showed that her two Pokémon had been trained effectively to be obedient and patient when the situation called for it.
They kept waiting in place like experienced hunters until a man stepped out of the door with sluggish movements and a bottle in his hand.
The phone in Kimi's hand had been on silent with the flash off while it was pointed in the direction of the house so once he came out, she pressed on it to take a picture without being noticed.
The image was posted on her group message right away before putting her phone away to prevent the light from the screen attracting attention to herself.
It was already set to low but there was always a chance that it was enough for her to be spotted.
The man walked around towards the trees and stood in place while leaning against it for a while to vomit which showed how drunk he was. "Urk."
After vomiting, he wandered back inside the house while continuing to drink from the bottle not even caring that he was already unwell from the excessive alcohol in his body.
The door slammed shut and Kimi finally got up while taking out a pair of basic handcuffs which she had obtained from old man P.
There were a couple of basic tools which she needed for her day job as a bounty hunter and the police force or the Jenny family would not support her activities and provide her with the equipment she needed.
There was a knock on the door and the man had answered after crashing around the room to get towards the door. "Who is it?"
He looked down and saw a young messy looking girl but the colour of her hair made his alertness raise instantly. 'It is a jenny?'
He had been avoiding capture for a while and had been extra vigilant so the moment he saw Kimi's hair, he identified her as a Jenny then swung the bottle in his hand towards her.
Kimi ducked her body a little which made the glass bottle miss her and continue to hit the door frame.
The glass bottle smashed which scattered the glass shards around while the glass bottle became a sharp and deadly weapon.
A small fox like animal ran forward and tackled him to the ground while a dog like animal bit down on his arm. "Eevee!" "Growlithe!"
There was a clicking sound which happened at the same time because Kimi had placed one of the handcuffs onto the arm of the man after he failed to hit her.
The moment that he was about to stab her with the bottle in response, he was knocked down by Growlithe and Eevee because of his drunken state.
Before he could get back up or try to struggle against the two Pokémon that were holding him down, a kick was aimed towards his hand which gripped onto the remains of the glass bottle. "Argh. You little.."
He tried to struggle to get up but Kimi grabbed onto the hand cuff and twisted it slightly so that his arm had no choice but to bend and follow along with her direction unless he wanted to be under further pain. "Ah.. ar..hah.. stop."
He rolled over onto his stomach and then felt more weight press down on his back and his other arm being moved towards his back.
Eevee had sat on his back while Growthe held his arm in her mouth while moving it towards Kimi.
Another click followed as both wrists had been cuffed, Kimi showed a satisfied smile and reached her hand out to pet Growlithe and Eevee but stopped suddenly.
A cold look appeared on her face suddenly as she scoffed. "So it is this trick.."
