Renegade Jenny (Pokemon Fanfic)

Policewoman dies upholding her values that have been passed on by her mentor and is reincarnated in the world of Pokémon with no cheats and knowledge of the games or anime but even that had not been that helpful to her in her new duties. After many losses of her Pokémon, many injuries and finally a death, she somehow finds herself back to the time of the officer exams where she received her first Pokémon. Twice engulfed in flames, twice dying for the cause and facing hardships but before her second death, she declared. ‘No more! If I survive this then I will no longer live like this!’ When she awoke, she decided to no longer stick to her principles that were taught to her by her mentor as it only brought her pain and she did not receive what she had earned through her self sacrifice. I do not claim to own Pokémon, its plot or characters but there are some changes I may make to the original story and add my own characters. Meeting Him Again

Kimi started to carry out her plan slowly compiling the information into a state which could be given over to Old P in much smaller parts.

There were not many useful options that Kimi could make use of for a believable story for her to possess such advanced knowledge.

If she tried to come up either a lie about finding it somewhere insignificant then Old P would quickly find out that a stated location had nothing to do with anything that could produce something of that magnitude.

It was the very same for any other possible idea she came up with like her acquiring it during by chance during one of her outings or tasks.

There could be some groups that were making use of Old P's past achievements and knowledge already since he had already gone into hiding but nobody so smalltime would be able to hold onto such information.

It would not be so easy for Kimi to get her hands on such a thing unless she was involved in a much bigger event and organisation.

It could lead to her being questioned about who she was working with and further doubts in her intentions of approaching Old P.

If she was just a pawn in someone else's game then she could be used to approach Old P and gain his trust enough to help further and complete a project that could not be completed without his input.

She needed something that would be believable in some way and to help some kind of emotional response from Old P enough for him to overlook some flaws that she may show.

If there was a group that had pushed his research so far beyond his current research then they clearly had to have great support and talented people.

Only those from his past could have ever been able to get their hands on his research and accomplish such things.

If the league or a secret group had chosen to make use of his research after his disappearance then it could be possible for such a thing to happen.

Although some of his precious units people had already died, there could still be some hiding in the shadows and alive somewhere he could not find them.

Kimi needed something that suggested such a thing happening but there still being a chance of there no longer being such a threat.

It would cover for the possibility of such a group not existing in the present but also distract Old P enough to not let him doubt her.

If such a possibility of a group existing was proven to be true then it was always a bonus to have Old P be wary of such an existence.

Even if there was no group, there were plenty of groups involved in all kinds of dirty work and corrupted advancements that could be used to have Old P set his sights on after he was given some incentive to look into them.

Kimi contacted Old P once more after she had finished typing out the first part of what she planned to hand over along with some scanned images and blueprints to go along with them. "This should be enough for him to work with."

If Old P was as much of a genius as she remembered him to be then there was nothing that could stop him from deciphering and fully understanding what he had been given.

He would reach such results in the near future anyways so all she was doing was providing what would aid that.

All she was doing was helping to speed up the process of events that could take place in the future without Old P being captured and used up until his demise.

After talking about an important matter that needed to be discussed in a secure way, Kimi was given a location and headed out again in a disguise.

In the corner of a small room within a small cafe was where she found herself which had been located on the edges of Saffron City.

Kimi was sitting sipping a cup of tea after being served then the door of the private room was open shortly after.

A kind looking old man entered looking just like any old citizen yet despite that, Kimi already knew that the appearance was merely a disguise meant to fool the eyes of others.

Old P looked vastly different from the appearance she had seen him display before which showed his expert skill in disguise.

He carried himself with a hunched over back holding himself up with a cane he leaned on.

He was wearing a simple knitted sweater, pants, slippers, a scarf and a pair of round glasses.

Upon closing the door behind him, his whole aura started to change showing his usual serious and alert manner. "What did you call me out for?"

Kimi stuck out her hand in a welcoming manner. "Please sit. This might take some time."

His body language remained cautious as he carefully looked around the room. 'No changes.'

He had set up the meeting and arranged everything to provide privacy between them and a way for him to escape if there was anything troublesome to happen.

Since he had arranged everything to suit his needs and had checked over everything previously before entering, he would be able to notice if Kimi or others had moved anything around or made changes with just a single glance.

He may have placed his hopes on his new student but he still valued his own safety.

He was not naive enough to put himself in a disadvantaged position after so many years in hiding especially when he narrowly escaped capture due to Kimi's intervention.

So far he was pleased with Kimi's development and was beginning to trust in her but it was not to the point of putting himself in danger.

Upon seeing there were no alterations to the room so that nobody could listen in or have anyone suddenly storm in from the surroundings, he sat down opposite Kimi. "So. Why did you call me out?"

Kimi let out a long sigh as if she was preparing to unload something difficult for her. 'Remember.. you are just a ten year old girl at present even if you have shown impressive abilities so far.'

Her body language suggested she was feeling uneasy and having a difficult time getting started as her hands were gripping tightly onto her clothes underneath the table. "The truth is.. I did not approach you by coincidence."

She had already given Old P her explanation for her reasoning for finding him and working with him but there could always be a much deeper reason behind it.

Old P may have already doubted some points in her story so it could be made use of in the present.

Kimi was a child in appearance so she could be forgiven for holding some things back and it was usually easier for children to get away with things since they were still young.

Old P knit his brows and asked. "What is your meaning?"

It was clear that his body had tensed up a little and he was more alert than before.

Kimi started to fidget more as her head lowered further showing a slightly guilty and repenting appearance. "I.. the reason.. it is my mother.. it was my mother's wish. I promised her."
