Espeon

A four legged creature with slender legs, dainty paws and a thin forked tail appeared before Kimi.

She was covered in fine, lilic fur paired with large ears, purple eyes with white pupils and there were some tufts of fur near her eyes while a small red gem was embedded into her forehead and a small necklace was hung from her neck.

The forked tail had twitched a little as Kimi had approached which was a telltale sign of Espeon's precognitive abilities but she did not resist Kimi's touch and did not avoid her.

The red gem was glowing slightly and Espeon closed her eyes to settle the energy within herself which was all to new to herself. "Espeon."

Espeon tried to reign in the strong psychic energy which was contained within her body and undergo the next phase of her evolution.

Her psychic energy gradually calmed down and her gem stopped glowing brightly then a hand was placed on her head and stroked her gently. "Good job. Now for the final part. Unlearn tackle and accept your new move."

Upon evolving, some would automatically learn a new move that was suitable to their new form or type which had been changed and Espeon had one too.

Confusion was the move that she learned upon evolving which aided her a little more in adapting to her newly obtained psychic attribute energy.

Confusion was weaker than the others in terms of power and telekinetic manipulation but it was a move which could be trained to allow further mastery with her psychic powers in preparation for the later moves which could be learned.

The additional chance to confuse her target was an additional bonus when used to assist her team from far away so Kimi was pleased with the development of her Eevee.

There was the option to turn Eevee into a Sylveon to become a counter to Dragon types but walking around while being followed by an unknown and rare fairy type would only draw more unwanted attention to herself.

Not all of the evolutions of Eevee had been discovered and she did not want her name to be spread around because of her discovery of the fairy types which had not yet been put into their own categories and finding a new evolutionary route for Eevee.

Umbreon was a decent choice for combat and stealth but it did not suit her current team which was more suited to handling various tasks and acting out in the open, Umbreon would have worked better as a stealthy assassin type in her dark team.

Espeon was always the better choice for to make up for where she was lacking in something that could use psychic moves and use her telekinesis to aid her in many different situations.

A couple of small metal balls appeared in the hands of Kimi then she placed them down in front of Espeon. "Lift up and control one at a time. Now is a good time to test your limits and train your control."

Espeon's eyes shone excitedly and her red gem started to glow brightly, upon using confusion on one of the metal balls, a slight telekinetic energy surrounded it. "Espeon!"

The small metal ball slowly was raised up into the air then it started to increase its movements and speed as it danced around in the air.

Espeon cutely chased after the floating metal ball and jumped up to catch it with her paws before she released her control.

The metal ball fell into her grasp and she fell onto her back as she rolled around playing with it.

The metal ball was pushed upward and her gem started to flow again as the thrown ball fell down then paused in the air.

Espeon found it fun so started playing around with the metal ball skilfully using her precognition to judge when the ball would become a danger to herself and when she should stop it by using confusion.

Kimi looked down at the small pink creature who was having fun playing and let out a sigh. 'If I had this opportunity in my previous life then perhaps I could have saved myself from many unfortunate events.'

Her one chance that she had come across to own an Eevee was during the test but she was glad that she had chosen Eevee and picked the evolutionary route as she had. 'The precognitive abilities are supposedly developed by them in order to protect themselves or their trainer from harm. It works well with the use of aura sensing and now she does not need me to warn her about incoming dangers so I can put my focus elsewhere.'

Kimi could keep up her senses towards the battle and connect to Growlithe and the others that were released while not having to worry about the safety of Espeon as much because she would be able to predict and avoid most dangers.

There would always be some things that Kimi could miss in the future with her use of aura so having Espeon close by was a good way to prevent any further misfortunes.

Growlithe was released along with the others who greeted Espeon, Growlithe chased around the floating metal balls as Espeon arrogantly raised her paw and waved towards the ball which made it move out of Growlithe's reach. "Growlithe!"

Growlithe missed her target then slid across the ground as she landed, she then looked towards Espeon with a look of envy in her eyes. "Growlithe!"

Espeon did not seem to lose her cunning and playful streak because when she saw the failure of Growlithe, she pulled funny faces towards Growlithe and taunted her a little before controlling the metal ball to attract her attention once again.

"Cubone?!" The bone in the hand of Cubone started to float up into the air out of its reach which had caused the Cubone distress which made Kimi roll her eyes. "You should have held onto it properly then.."

Kimi watched her Pokémon happily playing around together and a warm feeling spread in her heart.

Her previous self had lost too much and rarely had the close bond with her Pokémon because of her own mistakes but her current life had shown her what she had been missing out on all that time.

Espeon seemed to sense her master's emotions and walked to her side then rubbed her head against which made Growlithe jealous. "Espeon!"

Growlithe jumped towards Espeon to push her away and take the spot away but Espeon did not move from her spot, the red gem glowed and Growlithe paused in the air for a moment before falling down to the ground with a confused look on her face.

Kimi spent a little more time in meditation and letting her Pokémon play around a little before she headed home to have a long nap.

When she awoke, she looked at the many messages which had been left unread in her chat group and on the forums then she went to see her father and have a meal with him.
