Prologue

Because of losing a bet, I, Arietta, need to get a fruit with super weird name — "Rendesvolze".

If I had know that this fruit is so rare and can only be found in a distant land, I would never accept such a bet!

However, going back on my word isn't something I would do either!!

I stare into the land I've never thought I would go to.

"Okay…"

I tighten my grip on my small bag. Ready to embark on a long journey.

"Wait!" Someone shouted

"What is it!?" I turn my head back angrily

It took me so long to raise my mood!!

"Do you have that land money?"

"…"

It seem the journey might come to an end before it even start.
