E2 C1 Out on the Town

Lilac hummed sitting on the airship next to Loki and the rest of her team. One thing none of them expected was that another team had the same idea they did. Probably because it was a weekend.

Sitting across from them were members of team CLVR. Their team lead being a young man from Atlas named Cayde. Followed by Luca who was from Mantle, Violet who was from Vacuo, and Rose who was from Menagerie.

Sitting there awkwardly the two teams stared at each other in silence for a moment before Carter broke the silence.

"So, you guys going out to enjoy your weekend as well?" He asked with his typical cocky smile, he was happy to finally get the chance to learn more about his rivals. Being as they had somehow managed to spark a team v team rivalry in the span of the first week. Mainly due to Carter spouting how he was better than everyone. They took that personally, mainly Cayde. Ever since it had been the battle of the teams, although team Clover had the advantage up until today mainly having a full team.

Now that Loki had returned things were a bit more even.

"Yeah, we needed a little bit of R&R after stuffing our minds and body full of learning and pain." Cayde spoke returning Carter's cocky smile. "Seems like your teammate finally decided to grace us with his presence, seems to be pretty cool if he's able to get Mango to shut up for most of a class period." He turned his attention to Loki, who sat there unamused as he was scrolling through his new scroll.

Looking up at him Loki would raise an eyebrow. "He was lucky I only used my words in all honestly."

"Don't like a bully?" Cayde questioned tilting his head to one side for a moment.

"No, he was just way too noisy. I just found him annoying."

That answer was honestly one none of them expected him to say. Well at least all of the except Lilac who had gotten a bit used to his Loki-isms.

"You found him annoying...?" Luca questioned with a small amount of hesitation before her eyes slowly began to sparkle. "Sooo cooool!"

Before Loki could respond any Lilac pinned Luca with a side eye. The girl had all but ogled Loki since he had spoken back to Mango. Which slightly peeved Lilac to a degree.

Loki feeling the two different kinds of tension shifted uncomfortably to the right until he was as far away from the two teams as he could get. Honestly he was too tired for any of this shit. He primarily wanted to rest. Given that his injuries albeit almost completely healed still aggravated him.

He stared out the window watching the darkness of the night be pierced by the skyline of the city. It had a different kind of beauty to it than his homeland did.

Lilac glanced over to Loki noticing the look of discomfort in his eyes. Maybe it wasn't too much of a good idea to have dragged him out on his first day out of the hospital.

"So Lilac, how do you feel now that your team is back together?" Cayde asked breaking the awkward tension that had built up.

"Oh you know it's nice having everyone back together, though now that the band is together now. We can finally have all the fun in the world." Lilac would say with a small smile.

"You're here to have fun?" he questioned Cayde tilted his head somewhat confused. Though they really haven't talked much, every interaction they did have always ended with confusing Cayde even more. As Lilac always responded with something that caught him off guard.

She was definitely someone that needed keeping eyes on. As she was a wild card.

The airship began its descent to Vale there was a bit of turbulence that shook the ship. It was enough to catch even Loki's attention as he glanced up from his scroll with a frown.

Almost as soon as it began it ended. Everyone looking at each other chuckling nervously. Before a voice rang over the pa system.

"Sorry about the bumpy decent, we hit some unexpected turbulence." The pilot spoke calmly, with a slight country drawl. "We'll be landing shortly."

Soon after those words were spoken the ship arrived safely at the airdock, the doors opening to release the students into the city with the prospect of fun ahead of them.

Smiling Carter took several steps forward before turning to his team. "Alright Team Lilac! It is time for us to have the best night of our lives and celebrate Loki joining us!"

"Nothing too crazy Carter" Kersay would say starting at their leader.

"But crazy can be fun, you should really give it a try sometime Kersy" Lilac chuckled lighting a cigarette and taking a long deep drag. An action that caught the attention of the seven others around her prompting her to look around. "What?"

"Are you trying to get in trouble?! Don't smoke that!" Rose squealed at the sight looking around hurriedly expecting for them to get caught.

"I do what I want" She responded simply taking another drag only to be temporarily stopped by Loki shoving his hand in her face forcing it into her mouth.

"Not around others you idiot" He growled low leaving her choking on the cigarette before finally coughing it up.

"Me...message received...for no..w" Lilac painfully mutter holding her throat.

Turning to everyone Loki would gesture. "Lead the way on this escapade of torture"

"Oookaaay then...how about we go hit up the arcade?" Cayde suggested inviting himself along with the endeavors of the night. Then he looked at his team. "Sound fun guys?"

"Yeah!" Luca and Violet spoke in unison.

"What if they get us in trouble! They have a violent one and one that breaks societal norms! They're trouble! My parents warned me to avoid trouble ya know. I don't think it's a good idea!" Rose said swinging her arms wildly up and down almost like a cartoon character.

"Don't judge books by deeds of a single night Rose. That doesn't give enough time to judge their character." Cayde spoke giving Lilac and Loki a smile. "makes it more interesting when you are presented two puzzles after all."
