Chapter 39

As we talked we reached my favorite place.

"It is safe here, I always spend my time here alone. I never encountered any danger while being here. The river water is fresh and clean that it's drinkable. It looks like waterfall since water is falling from top of the hill."

"Oh, you're right."

As he said that he got closer to the river.

We followed him afterwards.

The river was small and its water was so clean and flow of it was normal. The water was falling calming from upper hill.

"I can drink its water and its not deep too."

As he said that he drank some water from it by using his hand.

"Why don't you two also try."

We were standing and observing the view.

"Okay."

She agreed.

He was also there watching the river while being in sitting position.

We were on each side of him. I was on the left and she was on the right.

"It's cold."

As she said that I felt someone's hand on my back and within a blink of an eye, we both found ourselves on the river wet all over.

"Huh…!"

"Hahaha."

He began laughing after pushing us to the river while standing and looking us.

"Joe, you idiot. I'm gonna- stop laughing."

I laughed quietly as he laughed but it wasn't quiet enough.

They heard me.

"See, she's having fun too. Why don't you too have fun in the river?"

"Huh?"

She got angry or should I say irritate.

And was about to go after him but she fell back to the river.

He continued enjoying us by laughing.

"Why don't you wash yourself I'm gonna protect you by observing you."

"Huh?"

"I'm gonna search for anyone or anything dangerous around so feel free to wash yourself or get naked. I am gonna take a peak but I'll not allow anyone to peak. Bye-bye…"

"Wait, where are you going?"

As he ran away she yelled.

It seemed that he was having fun.

"Ah… he's really irritates me sometimes. We're wet already so why don't we just wash each other."

"Don't worry about him. What he said was true."

We played in the river while washing each other for a while.

We were completely naked playing in the river.

First we washed our clothes and put it on the small tree grass as to try them off and began washing each other.

"Wow, you're so cute."

I felt so good after washing ourselves.

"You're cute too."

I said.

We played by sprinkling water to each other.

We both randomly fell on the river while playing.

It was fun.

We got tired and decided to take a break.

Our clothes were still not fully dried so she used magic and to squeeze out left water from it.

I don't know how but the clothes were burning but there seemed zero damage to it.

"How are you doing that?"

"It's magic. I casted super low level fire magic on our clothes. It's just like the sun's heat we're felling. If you touch it you'll feel nothing."

"I see. What if I wear it while it's still burning?"

"Nothing gonna happen. It's going to burn for a while."

She began wearing her clothes back.

First her white panty.

"See nothing happened."

It looked cool. Her panty was on fire.

I also wear my panty which was similar to her in color but a little pinkish.

I felt warmer as I wear it.

We began wearing each of our clothes.

We're on fire.

It looked really cool.

"Ah… you guys are hungry?"

"Where you've been?"

"Wow, you look cool. By the way aren't you feeling warm?"

"We do but it's going to vanish… see, it did. By the way do you have food on you? I don't see anything."

"Um, there're some trees of fruit near from here. We can go there but climbing is problem."

"Yes, I just came back from there. Those fruits were delicious."

"Then why didn't you bring some for us?"

"Oh, I didn't think about it but anyway let's just go there. Come come."

We followed him but he disappeared afterwards and we two were alone.

"Ah, where did that dumb go?"

"I think he's already there and waiting for us. He probably thought that I'm gonna show the way anyway."

"Oh, but why do he have to leave us alone? Don't he want to accompany us?"

"Dunno, what's going on his mind. But anyway he believed me so it's my job to take you there safely. So… um, can we hold hands?"

"Yep, thank you. I'm gonna teach him lesson afterwards."

We kept walking while I held her hand and guided the way.

"This is the place."

"Oh but where that idiot?"

There was no sign of him being here.

"Huh? What's that? Some kind of animal? It looks like sleeping."

I asked as I pointed towards to it and moved to approach it.

Its color was dark green. I touched it with my hands.

"Reyna, speak silently. It's called dragon and it is now sleeping if we wake him up, we're gonna be eaten by it so try not to do anything that'll disturb his sleeping."

She spoke softly.

"Okay."

"What you guys are doing?"

"Shhh…."

"Shhh…"

As we heard that we turned towards the voice and gestured him to keep quiet.

"Huh? What you guys are trying to say?"

We continued signaling him but he's yet to stop talking.

He's gonna get all of us eaten by the dragon behind us.

"Huh? What? What are you trying to say by doing, shhh, shhh, shhh?"

He acted like us.

"Why don't you talk? Is there something in your mouth?"

I looked back to the sleeping dragon.

It seemed that he was watching us for a while.

We're finished. He's already awakened.

As my eyes meet he smacked his tail to the ground which shocked both of us.

"Huh? What's that tail thing? Are you trying to hide something?"

He asked.

We heard roar probably of that dragon behind us which frightening.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

"Ahhhhhhh!"

We ran towards him.

"Hahaha…"

"Hahaha…"

He laughed and another laughed we heard was frightening.

Huh? Why is he laughing? And the dragon laughing too.

As I turned I stopped running. The frightening laugh turned into normal child like laugh.

There's a kid like us laughing.

"Hey, what happened—what? Where the dragon?"

"Dragon? You mean me?"

I chuckled.

The kid we're seeing turned into dragon that we perceived earlier.

"Huh?"

"Hello, I'm the dragon you talking about. How are you?"

I chuckled.

He turned back into child.

Her mouth was open.

"You stupid Joe."

"Hahaha- ouch ouch ouch…"

She grabbed his ears.

I kept chuckling.

"Ouch, I'm sorry, I'm sorry ouch…"

"Oh, someone seems having fun?"

As I turned left, my eyes met with the dragon kid.

"… yes."

I nodded.

When did he got here? Wow… he's cute. What's this I'm feeling. My heart is beating fast. I can see only him. Everything is blurred. Why? What is happening?

I kept observing him.

His hair was teal in color and eyes of the same color and white skin.

I put my hand against my chest.

He smells good. I'm glad that I washed myself in the river with Selene but why is my heart beating so fast?

"Well, I'm dragon but I can transform into human form and correctly you are perceiving is my genuine human form."

"I see… by the way we're sorry that we disturb your sleeping."

I approached them and was listening calmly.

"Well, he and I just met today here in this forest while you play in the river naked and became friends, didn't we?"

"Where was he when he awakened?"

I questioned.

"And what were you doing?"

She asked Joe.
