Memories

Benson's POV

I step out of the hall with Lilly in my arms.

I knew it was childish of me to totally ignore her, but I think it's the best for me and for her. I can't let myself get too close to her when I noticed she was having too much effect on me.

I walk back home with Lilly in my arms. We got home and Lilly ran to Charity's mom.

I walked back to my room and started working on a house plan. I was getting too busy these days with work and I knew I need to go back to Australia because meetings were pilling up waiting for me.

I work for hours and didn't know when I fell asleep.

“What's your name? “. I saw a man sitting in front of me with a paper in his hand,

“Benson “. I murmured.

I stare around the room and saw my aunt sitting in a corner staring at me with a smile on her face. I hissed in relief when I noticed she was there.

“So Benson, where are you from? “. he asked,

I thought for a while before remembering

“Australia”. I whispered.

He stared at me for a while before writing on the book.

“Can you mention names of your friends?”? He asked,

I thought for a while and ran my fingers through my hair, but I couldn't remember having any Friends.

“I don't think I have friends”.  I murmured those words confused.

“It's okay “. he smiled at me and wrote on the book.

“How old are you? “.he asked,

“Nineteen years”.  I replied quickly.

He nods his head and wrote on his book.

“Do you know that lady over there? “. He pointed at aunt.

I looked at him, then back at Aunt.

“Why is he asking me such ridiculous questions? ”. I asked aunt.

She beamed at me and stood up from the chair and walk up to me.

“Just answer all he asks you "

I stared at her, confused, before staring back at the strange man.

“She is my Aunt”. I replied firmly.

He nods his head and wrote on the book.

“Do you have a girlfriend”.he asked

I thought for a while and kept on repeating the words in my head and noticed I was having severe headache and couldn't bear it.

“Calm down, don't stress yourself”. The man muttered out.

I closed my eyes and thought for a while,, but I couldn't remember having anyone.

“No, I don't have a girlfriend”. I whisper

He stared at me for a while before standing up

“That will be all for now.”. he stood up from the chair and smiled at me before leaving the room.

“You did well, honey”. Aunt smiled at me.

I open my eyes, and again it was all a dream.

I rose up from the bed and walked to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and brought out a bottle of water and drank all.

“What was that? “. I murmured to myself.

I knew this dream was real, but again I can't remember having such talk with that man.

I could swear I haven't met that man in my entire life,, yet the dream felt so real.

I groaned in anger and walked back to my room.

I need to go back to Australia because I knew aunt has many things to explain to me and I couldn't wait to hear what she has to say.
