I wake up to a knock on my door and try to ignore it by pulling my pillow over my head. But the knocks only become louder and more persistent until I finally make my way down the stairs and to the front door. I open my door and see a bright-faced Riley beaming down at me.
“Please tell me you’re not making a habit of waking me up at the crack of dawn,” I groan at him.
“Get used to it, beautiful. You have me in your life now and we’re going to have fun every chance we get.”
