REMEMBER ME NOW

"You all see. My love's plan would have worked, but you bastards woke up and killed me again. Not knowing Autumn had a backup plan. He knew you fucks would wake up. So Autumn made it that whenever you would kill me or even remember me again, your brains would explode, but eventually, you would all wake up. I tried and tried to make Autumn remember me, but he drifted further and further away. I tried so hard, but I just could not reach him. I am the way I am because my dear boyfriend gave me all of your psychotic parts. That's why you all are different. All opened hearted. He put it in me to protect you. So that you all may never remember that you killers, saving his ass and all of yours. When I learned he chose all of you above me, I thought I would start this game will all of you. Make you remember me and watch as your brains burn inside of your body." Evan explained. "You a fucking psycho!" Xavier screamed. "I am not the psycho Xavier! All of you are! Every fucking one of you. You made me into this. You turned me into this person. For what? Just because I have found out what you made Autumn do.", he laughed. "What are you talking about?" Autumn asked, standing up from the floor. "Oh, honey, you don't know," Evan smirked as Autumn could barely stand on his own two feet. "They made you kill your mother."

"That's not true." Autumn stuttered. Xavier, Annalee, and Zia all went quiet. "You see, my love. You can't remember because they made you block it all out. They made you ignore the obvious. Blinded you. Just to see if you worthy enough. Worthy of them." Evan couldn't help himself. He felt the vengeance in the air as he smirked and tilted his head, inhaling deeply. "So who is going to tell him? All of you or me? I mean, you all should tell him since you guys got all your memories back. He is still a wounded soul, and I'm sure the story will knock him back into reality." Evan watched as Zia crawl up to Annalee and Xavier, struggling to breathe. "Stop your fucking games and tell me. Just fucking tell me!" Autumn screamed. Sanity came back into Evan's eyes as he watched Autumn barely standing. Torn apart. "I need you to know that I have been waiting for you for so long. I need you to come back to me. As you promised." Autumn knew what he had to do, "I promise." he lied. "Don't believe him, Autumn." Zia cried. "Way past that point dear.", Evan answered. He lifted himself off the couch. "I'm starting to feel like I'm the goddamn narrator of this whole bullshit you all started." he brushed himself and glanced over to Autumn before cleared his throat. His voice lowered, "The night of my birthday, I wanted to tell you why I have been following all of them. I knew there was something wrong with them after Zia almost broke her foot on our trip to the waterfall. I saw it. I saw her fell and broke her foot, but she got up as if it never happened. We all got wasted, and everyone passed out except Annalee. She went on over Xavier as she always fucking does, but she rambled on and asked me if I wanted to know a secret. You already charmed me against them by then. She told me about it all. Their whole plan about how they got what you wanted out of you. She laughed and laughed until she stopped and kissed me. The kiss was to wipe away the whole conversation we had. I battled for months trying to tell you. Day after day, I woke up next to you, seeing how happy you were. I knew If I told you it was going to tear you apart.", Evan whipped his tears and continued, "When they all ganged up on me on my birthday. I knew it was time for you to know the truth. I knew it had to be said. Annalee already came clean to them about telling me. That's why they had to take me out of the picture." Autumn got frustrated and barked at Evan to come to the point. "Your mother didn't call you on Christmas Eve. Zia phoned her and told her you wanted to come home. You were up in the mountain. In this house, partying. You're mom came, told you to come home. You stormed out after yelling at her. When you guys came home-", Evan stopped. As Autumn stood before him, he felt what they had and what he's about to say can change everything. "They told you to go upstairs. Crack open your window. Go downstairs. Strangle your mother. Take your bare hands and-", Autumn's scream traveled through the house. He remembers. Her struggling. The blood of when he stabbed her. Him washing it all and climbing back into bed. Zia and Annalee wept as Autumn stood screaming. "Autumn, no.", Xavier cried. "They made you do it. They made you do it, and I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't there." Evan caught Autumn as he fell into his arms sobbing. "Take it away." Autumn clung onto Evan's body. "Just take it away." he begged. "I don't want to know anymore." Evan nodded as his tears fell onto Autumn. "I'll fix this. I'll fix this for us." Evan reassured Autumn and laid him down. He stood up and faced the rest of them. "It's time you fuckers get what you deserve." Xavier kept coughing, trying to speak. "You can't kill us." he finally said. "Oh, no. I'm not going just to kill you. You all are going to burn the way you suppose too. You are going to fucking suffer the way you made him suffer.", A smirk came over Xavier's face. "Why the fuck are you smiling." he shouted. "You can't kill us without killing Autumn. He's linked to us." Zia explained. "Also you sick fuck-", Xavier said. "You so fucking wrong about everything." Evan saw Autumn standing up. "Autumn-", he turned around and felt a glass tearing his skin apart, into his heart. "I have to stop this." Autumn cried. "You lied." Evan said as he touched the blood flowing from his chest. "I love you, but this has to stop." Evan shook his head, trying to push the glass out of his chest. Autumn pushed it deeper into him. "You lied to me.", Evan repeated. "This is the only way, Evan. It is the only way for everything to stop." Evan fell into Autumn's arms. He took the piece of glass out of his chest. "You promised you'll come back to me. You told me to make you remember." Evan coughed blood as the air in his lungs filled up. "And thanks to you I do.", Autumn said, not trying to waste any time. "I remember Evan. I remember you now." he said as Evan gently touch his face. Autumn kept himself from tearing up. "I'm sorry it had to end like this. I'm sorry that it had to come to this." Evan spoke up as loudly as he could. "I don't understand." he said. "Xavier never killed you, Evan. I never killed them, and they never made me kill my mother. You made us remember it that way because you had no other choice. You got too lost in whipping our memories that you forgot why you were doing it in the first place.", Evan tears rolled down the side of his head. "You did it to protect us. Protect us from your brother. He's the one who killed my mother. He's the one who tried to kill us. He's the one behind everything. He's the one who made you the way you are." Autumn confessed. "Then why am I the one dying." Evan struggled to say. "Because the night on your birthday, we linked your life to his. You made me promise you that no matter what, if you were too far gone. I had to stop you. I know nothing is making sense right now, but I need you to know that I love you and I'm so sorry.", The light from Evan's eyes faded away as Autumn tried to bring him back by holding onto the wound. "He's gone." Zia said. "I'll always remember your Evan. I promise you." "He didn't deserve that. He just didn't know." Xavier said, standing up. Autumn wiped his tears and laid down Evan's body. Annalee and Zia stood up as well as they all looked over Evan. "You mean the part that we were right or the part that Autumn just lied to a dying man.", Annalee sarcastically remarked. "He came to close to figuring it all out." Autumn replied. "You think Austin would be a problem?" Zia asked. "If he is, we'll just do the same to him. Play with his mind until he cracks. No one will fucking stop us and try to come in our way ever again.", Autumn said, stepping away from the body. He began chanting. The windows and cameras all restored to their original state. "Why did we do all this anyway? We could have just killed him in the first place." Xavier pointed out. Autumn knew why. He needed saving. He needed Evan to save him from it all. He needed an escape from The Void, and Evan failed him. "Let's leave. This place is fucking depressing." Zia stepped over Evan and left. Annalee and Xavier left after her. "I'll come in a moment", Autumn said when Xavier waited for him in the door. "Don't take too long", Xavier said and left. Autumn waited until they all were in the car and kneeled over Evan's body. He started chanting, and Evan's body deformed into Austin's. He stood up, and a fire started burning Austin's body. He walked across the living room and stood in the door. "Find me, Evan.", he said and shut the door close.

He got into the car, and they drove off. Back to their normal lives, to their misunderstanding reality. Back to the beginning.
