"Why marry someone you're not in love with and who isn't in love with you back?" . . Lola only married the man her father wanted her to marry because it was advantageous to their business. The Battleground Has Been Established.

Lola narrowed her gaze at him and inquired, "Did you come here specifically for that? And how did you find out I work here?"

"Oh Lola, I know everything about you and I came here just to have lunch with you," Luis replied, nodding his head.

"You know everything about me and you didn't know I got married," Lola said.

Luis smiled awkwardly and mumbled, "I guess I didn't think you would get married. "

"Mr Borbón, please leave my office, I have lots of work to do and I don't have plans on having lunch," Lola replied harshly as she glared into his eyes.

Luis smiled and said, "I can buy you lunch"

"I don't need it, so please leave," Lola responded.

"You won't be able to work properly on an empty stomach, Lola." Luis said as he stood up, walked to her desk and reached for her hand.

"I'm used to that kind of thing," She said, pulling her hand away, "now please leave, since you don't have anything work-related to say."

Luis replied, folding his arm, "I'm not going." Lola bit her lip angrily and glared daggers at him as he settled into the chair.

"Mr Borbón, get out..." Lola snapped and rose to her feet. When they heard a knock on the door, they both turned to look at it.

Lola stood up and was about to open it when Luis stood up and went first.

When he opened the door, he saw It was one of Lola's chauffeurs.

"Is Madam Lola present? Laura, her maid, instructed me to send her lunch "He said, holding out the lunchbox.

Luis smiled brightly as he looked at the Lunchbox; he grabbed it and said, "Yes, she's here, I'll give it to her."

The chauffeur was stunned for a moment before nodding and walking away.

Lola facepalmed and groaned slightly, thinking, 'I told Laura not to bother, but she...'

Luis closed the door and dangled the lunchbox in the air.

"Let's have lunch together, like we used to back then," he said as he placed the lunchbox on her desk.

Lola looked at him and said, "Just this once, but don't come here again."

Luis smiled broadly, averted his gaze, and replied, "Yes, this is the last, I promise."

Lola shook her head, sighed, and thought, 'he's lying, he's not going to stop.'

"Sit and Let me open it," Luis offered, and began to open the box while Lola sat and watched.

Luis' jaw dropped as he stared at the lunchbox cuisine, "arroz con pollo! my favourite!"

'I didn't realise when I became addicted to eating that dish,' Lola thought.

"Lola, since the day I introduced this dish to you, it has also become your favourite dish, right?" He asked Lola.

He poked her cheek with his index finger causing Lola frown and slap his hand away.

"Don't you have any work?" She asked sternly.

"Well yes, but it doesn't matter, I'm the owner, so I can do whatever I want," He replied.

'Such a careless reproach to his work,' Lola thought as Luis searched the lunch box for a spoon but only found one.

She shook her head and tried to take the spoon from him, but Luis yanked it away and said, "I will feed you."

"There's no need," Lola retorted.

"What exactly do you mean? There is only one spoon in this room "Luis said dangling the silver spoon.

"Fine, do whatever you want," Lola replied, rolling her eyes.

He took a spoonful from the dish and brought it up to Lola's lips, saying, "say ah "

Lola took a look at the spoon and swallowed hard. He put the spoon into her mouth after she exhaled and opened her mouth reluctantly.

'How did things come to this? I was pissed a while ago, but now... I'm alittle bit at ease' Lola thought as she chewed her food and looked at Luis.

'I know what to do now...' she thought as Luis cackled at her. He cleaned the oily stain on her lips with his thumb and Lola didn't take her gaze away from him as he did this.

'I will use this situation to my advantage,' she thought as an icy smile crept across her face.

Maria stood in front of a building with the words 'Water Hills Hospital' boldly written on it.

As she walked in, she adjusted her labcoat and muttered to herself, "Well, this is the last one, let's get this over with."

"Mrs Morales, you're here, let me show you to the gynaecologist office," a nurse from the reception desk said.

Maria nodded, smiled, and followed the nurse.

When they arrived at the office, they saw a typical heightened woman walking out, with wavy dirty-blonde hair and pale brown orbs.

"Ah, Mrs Andrea, this is Mrs Morales, she specialises in this field and is here to assist if any assistance is required." According to the nurse.

Andrea glanced at the nurse and then Maria, who extended her hand for a handshake. Andrea looked tiredly at Maria's hand and said, "Alright, it's nice to meet you too, please do wait for me in my office I have something to attend to," shaking Maria's hand with a smile on her face.

"Thank you," Maria said as she entered her office.

Maria looked around the office, an irritated expression on her face.

"Sheesh, what a mess," Maria grumbled as she tossed her bag on the table and began organising Andrea's office.

While she was sorting the files, she noticed one that appeared to be separated from the others; she took it in her hand and read the content: "Livia Edgar... Pregnancy report... " Maria mumbled, her eyes widening in shock and disbelief. 'What the hell ' Maria wondered. She pulls out her phone, from her bag and takes a photo of it.

She returns file to its original location on the desk, then quickly sorted the remaining files and neatly stacked them in the cabinet.

She sat in one of the chairs and looked at the office with a satisfied expression on her face.

Andrea walked into the office with two coffee-filled paper coffee cups. She paused for a moment and looked around her office, wondering, "Did I enter the wrong office?"

She was taken aback by how clean it was.

"It was quite disorganised," Maria said as she stood up, "so I decided to help clean it up."

"I've been busy lately, I barely have time to arrange this place, thank you, " Andrea said with a smile.

"I got you this," she says as she hands Maria one of the cups of coffee she's holding. "Thank you so much, shall we begin?" Maria said as she took it from her.

Andrea smiled and sat in her chair, saying, "Yes, let's get started."

"You didn't come to ask me for lunch, did you?" Lola inquired as she watched Luis close the lunchbox.

"I noticed you were in a bad mood, so I changed my mind and decided to ask you to eat lunch with me," Luis said, his gaze fixed on the lunchbox.

He pushed the lunchbox aside and looked her in the eyes, wondering, "Did it work?"

Lola averted her gaze and blinked quickly. He watched Lola struggle to answer his question, he let out a chuckle.

"I see it worked," He observed.

"Then why were you really here?" She asked, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Nothing major, it can wait," He said as he rose to his feet. He just wanted to see her face again that's the real reason he came . It truly wasn't something important on a norms but to him it was.

"You're leaving?" Lola asked, looking at him.

He nodded, put his hand on her desk, and inquired, "or do you not want me to leave?, If you don't want me to leave, I wouldn't mind staying."

"I will walk you out," Lola said as she stood up immediately.

Luis laughed as he watched her walk out of the office, then followed her.

Luis and Livia exited the company building in complete silence.

"I'm surprised you're seeing me off," Luis said, breaking the silence.

"I just want you to leave," Lola replied coldly.

Luis walked towards his black McLaren P1 sports car while Lola stood and watched him. He then turned to face her, winked, waved, and said, "Take care...I wish we could do more of this," Before getting into his sports car and driving away.

Lola exhaled all the air she hadn't realised she'd been holding in and returned to the building.

Marco stood beside her, waiting for her ordered.

"Follow me," she said to him as she walks to her office.

Marco nodded and followed her into her office.

'Madam looks very angry, but she always looks angry; is she going to fire me?' As he closed his eyes and reflected.

She took out the booklet envelope and placed it in his hands, instructing him to "Make a colour copy of the document in this envelope and return it to me immediately."

He looked her with widened eyes and said, "Yes madam, I will do it right away," before leaving her office.

'This is just the beginning,' Lola reflected.

Livia sat beside her window in her room, staring out the window as she pats her stomach.

"Hmm, she must have seen the letter I sent her," she speculate.

"You know there were other options for getting that letter to her." Amber stated.

"Yes, I know," Livia replied, "but I want her to know I did it; I had no intention of being anonymous in the first place."

"What's your next move?" Amber asked, nodding.

"Be prepared; we will carry out my next plan soon." Livia replied.

'This is only the beginning,' she thought with an evil grin.
