" That can't be right , I saw that text, " Maria concluded, frowning .
They both sat silently for a moment. Marco kept studying her expression. She appeared to be in a daze, her face lost in thought.
" Something must have happened since that day " Maria mused aloud.
"You have to believe me , I know I definitely saw that message."
Maria was clearly distressed and Marco didn't know what to do anymore.
He then held her shoulders and said, " it's okay, don't stress yourself. I and Lola are already looking into this matter, okay? We will find that Miguel guy and make sure he rots behind bars. "
Maria seemed to relax slightly and nodded in agreement.
" Alright, I won't stress myself," She said .
"Get some rest, okay?" Marco said, patting her head.
