Chapter 44 Vaelexis Draconic Inferno: Cosmic Conflagration
Whilst Azrael had been forming his avatars, she had been thinking about the boon and bane that she would bestow upon her avatars. She had an idea but wasn't sure if it would work.
Now that Azrael was done forming his avatars, it was her turn. She first asked him about his experience, which he explained in detail. She then transformed into her true form but with a slight difference. Instead of a crown on her head, she had a Dragon Pearl in her right claw.
She had gained the ability to freely transform her Nexus into a crown or pearl regardless of her transformation. She carefully recalled Step 1 of her technique, Infernal Invocation and Soulfire Ignition.
She focused her consciousness inside her Nexus. The situation inside her Nexus was very different from the last time she was here.
Last time, all the different energies were separate from each other, each occupying a different area. But now, an army greeted her instead. It was divided into seven legions with a general leading each.
She was very familiar with the generals as they were none other than the beasts that represented the Seven Deadly Sins; a yellow toad (Avaritia), a green snake (Invidia), an orange lion (Ira), a light blue snail (Acedia), a pink pig (Gula), a red goat (Luxuria), and a violet peacock(Superbia).
But something was very different about them. They looked like they had fused with her potent Dragon Energy and transformed into hybrids. She quickly analyzed them and the results left her shocked. They had a hint of intelligence in their eyes and had even developed a weak Will. And to top it all off, they had names.
Varithraxys, the Yellow Toad (Avaritia) Dragon Hybrid
Varithraxys embodied the insatiable desire for wealth and material possessions, combining the features of a yellow toad and the elegance of a dragon. Its long, serpentine body was covered in shimmering yellow and golden scales, glinting with the allure of treasures. Varithraxys' head featured a wide mouth filled with sharp fangs, and atop its head were intricate horn-like adornments, symbolizing its insatiable greed.
Envinarion, the Green Snake (Invidia) Dragon Hybrid
Envinarion personified the consuming envy that drives one to covet what others possess. This hybrid creature gracefully combined the sinuous form of a green snake with the allure of a dragon. Its serpentine body was adorned with vibrant green scales, reflecting the shades of jealousy. Envinarion's head bore piercing eyes that emanated a sense of longing, and subtle, elegantly curved horns, symbolizing the ever-present desire to possess what others have.
Irazmor, the Orange Lion (Ira) Dragon Hybrid
Irazmor represented the burning fury and explosive wrath that simmers within. This majestic hybrid melded the power of an orange lion with the awe-inspiring traits of a dragon. Its elongated body was covered in fiery orange scales, radiating intensity and heat. Irazmor's head carried the fierce visage of a lion, complete with a commanding presence and curved horns that symbolize its fiery rage.
Aeglosiphros, the Light Blue Snail (Acedia) Dragon Hybrid
Aeglosiphros embodied the serene tranquility and lethargic nature of sloth. This hybrid creature merged the spiral shell of a light blue snail with the graceful qualities of a dragon. Its long, slender body was covered in shimmering light blue scales, reflecting a calm and introspective demeanor. Aeglosiphros' head showcased a blend of snail-like features and dragon-like elements, emanating an air of contemplation and relaxation.
Gulagonys, the Pink Pig (Gula) Dragon Hybrid
Gulagonys symbolized the voracious appetite and unbridled indulgence of gluttony. This captivating hybrid combined the round, plump form of a pink pig with the enchantment of a dragon. Its body was adorned with lustrous pink and golden scales, evoking a sense of opulence and extravagance. Gulagonys' head bore a pig-like face intertwined with dragon-like traits, such as decorative frills and small, ornamental horns, signifying its insatiable hunger for excess.
Ardyrisaar, the Red Goat (Luxuria) Dragon Hybrid
Ardyrisaar epitomized the burning passion and intense desire of lust. This hybrid creature merged the agile form of a red goat with the allure of a dragon. Its lithe body is adorned in crimson-red scales, accentuated by gilded highlights that symbolize desire's alluring flame. Ardyrisaar's head showcased a blend of goat-like features and intricate, curling horns, capturing the passionate spirit and sensuality it embodies.
Lirisuperion, the Violet Peacock (Superbia) Dragon Hybrid
Lirisuperion embodied the majestic pride and regal splendor that resides within. This hybrid creature combined the vibrant beauty of a violet peacock with the ethereal qualities of a dragon. Its long, serpentine body was adorned in resplendent violet scales, shimmering with an air of superiority. Lirisuperion's head carried a peacock-like countenance, adorned with regal crests and elegant, curving horns, reflecting its majestic and proud nature.
Their respective legions were formed from the corrupted energy of the Five Basic Elements. Each Sin had corrupted the Five Basic Elements differently, resulting in a legion that looked very similar to them.
The seven generals bowed as soon as they sensed her presence, even Lirisuperion despite symbolizing the Sin of Pride. She shaped her formless consciousness into the shape of her Infernal Zaldrīzes Form. The army of beasts roared as if they were welcoming their empress and celebrating her arrival.
She then began chanting. She subconsciously activated Cosmic Aria but her's was very different from Azrael's. His was like the gentle but bright starlight guiding the ones who are lost. Her's on the other hand, was like the euphony of countless beasts roaring together.
She began dancing a mesmerizing dance with her slender serpentine body, soon joined by her army. When their performance reached its zenith, she invoked the Infernal Invocation. Soon, every soldier in her army lost some of the essences that made up their existence.
Those essences gathered above Lily's figure but she continued on with her dance. It was now the general's turn. Unlike other soldiers who just sacrificed some of their essences, the Seven Sinful Generals sacrificed something far greater.
Varithraxys sacrificed its yellow-golden scales and the intricate horn-like adornments that represented its greed. Envinarion sacrificed its envious eyes. Irazmor sacrificed its wrathful flames. Aeglosiphros sacrificed its spiral shell. Gulagony sacrificed his stomach and tongue. Ardyrisaar sacrificed its curled horns and universal reproductive organs. And finally, Lirisuperion sacrificed its regal feathers, scales, horns, and its crests.
The Seven Sinful Generals had sacrificed their core values, their sins. it was not wrong to say that they had sacrificed their everything leaving only shells behind. Their sacrifices resonated with the essences and they fused together into an infernal Soulflame.
The Soulflame, a pitch-black flame with shades of purple-gold radiated a sinister and imperious aura at the same time. A small portion split from the flame and further divided itself into seven portions and each submerged itself into the bodies of the Seven Sinful Generals.
Their bodies burst into Infernal flames and burned until only ash remained. The legions rushed toward the ashes of their respective generals and fused with them. In the end, they turned into seven pitch-black scaled eggs.
Lily stopped her performance and glanced at the seven eggs. She instinctively knew that these eggs would only hatch after she had created the cultivation system of her multiverse. They would be the first beings to inhabit her multiverse.
Now that Step 1 was complete, it was now time to begin Step 2, Soulfire Unleashing and Avataric Manifestation.
Similar to Azrael's Celestial Star, her Infernal Soulflame started refining all the energy from her Multiverse. Just like she also split a shard from all the Universe Cores in her multiverse. Unlike Azrael, she would only make 10000 avatars.
The Infernal Soulflame refined and fused the shards into 10000 transparent 9 Clawed Dragon Souls. Her avatars had formed and now it was time for the bestowment of the boon and bane. During her seclusion, she had read about how every dimension had dragons. And they were almost always the rulers of the Beast Race.
She had even read a certain theory that talked about the True Dragons. They were not a particular species but beings who had achieved a certain state of existence. The author theorized that any being could potentially evolve into a True Dragon. They even said that dragons were nothing but the descendants of True Dragons.
She wanted to put that theory to the test and see if normal beasts could evolve into dragons without bloodline implantation. Of course, she couldn't truly test that theory because her avatars already had very strong Dragon Souls. But it was enough to satisfy her curiosity temporarily.
So she first bestowed the boon, the innate talent, Gluttonous Evolution. It was an application of the Sin of Gluttony that would allow her avatars to assimilate the traits of any creature they devoured.
Then she bestowed not one but two banes. The first one would ensure that they started as extremely ordinary beasts with bloodlines of the lowest level possible. Second, she put nine seals on them, preventing any leaking Dragon Energy to influence their bodies before they reached a certain level of cultivation.
The transparent Dragon Souls suddenly transformed into snakes. They would start out as snakes. With each subsequent seal removed, they would evolve into:
Serpent
Two Legged Jiao
Four Legged Wyrm
Horned Drake
Three Clawed Dragon
Four Clawed Dragon King
Five Clawed Dragon Emperor
8 Clawed Dragon Ancestor
9 clawed Dragon God
It was now time to choose the universes that her avatars would travel to.
