Ru Wen Genes

When dinner was ready, my mother called my father into the kitchen to fold the dumping. The funny part was that she told him exactly how to fold it gently use his big finger.

"Mr Mu, seriously? You have to start over here and go this way," she said.

"Wifey, this is easy. Trust, I know how to fold this."

"But, if you go this way, it's easier and it would stick together."

"Ru Wen, you know that I love you, but please trust me and I know how to fold it," he said.

"Mama, can you please come here. Now I need you to help me with this. I can't get this from the oven," I said.

My mother walked over and took the sweet Japanese potato out of the oven. Then I walked over to my father and put my arm around him as I took a piece of fruit from the plate beside him.

My father will look over at me and wink.

"Thank you, princess, for helping me," He said.

"My pleasure, Papa," I smiled.
