Part 43 Trilogy

When Xiao Zhi was finished eating, Ru Wen cleaned her up and took her out of her stools chair while I went and called my parent. They were upset when I told them the news and said to let them know what was going on and when they could visit. About an hour later, Mr Li stepped off the elevator with her wife.

"Hi," I said.

"If it's okay with you, we're going to take Xiao Zhi with us furniture shopping," Mr Li said.

"Oh, that sounds like fun!" Ru Wen exclaimed.

"Yeah, sure," I said as I walked upstairs.

So I went into the bathroom and splashed some water on my face. Things weren't sitting right with me, and I had a bad feeling. I stood with my hands on the counter when Ru Wen walked in and looked at me.

"My love, are you okay?" she asked.

"I don't know, baby. To be honest, I really don't know what and how I'm feeling right now."
