Drews P.O.V

I couldn't sleep. My mind was constantly replaying what had happened earlier with Raven. She was filled with so much power it radiated off of her when she used her abilities. She was amazing.

"What're you doing up?" Raven asked me pulling me away from my movie.

"Couldn't sleep. Needed a snack." I said and held up the bowl of chocolate ice cream I was eating.

"Mind if I join you?" She asked and I shook my head. She sat beside me and started watching the movie.

"What's it about?" She asked me watching it.

"It's about an escaped convict that has special eyes that allows him to see in the dark." I said and she nodded.

"Want me to start it over so you don't get confused?" I asked and he smirked.

"I am already confused just watching the hot guy fight." She said and made a spoon for herself and started eating my ice cream.

"Hey, get your own." I chuckled.

"Fine then." She smiles and went to the kitchen. She came back with a bowl of rocky road.

"Better?" I asked and she nodded happily.

"Drew.." Raven said suddenly pulling me from my thoughts.

"Hmm?" I said letting a spoonful of ice cream melt in my mouth.

"Why did you kiss me earlier?" She asked me. I drank the melted ice cream and looked at her thinking about how to answer without telling her the truth.

"Because if I hadn't you would've roasted me like a duck." I said and she laughed. God I loved her laugh it always made me smile knowing that I could make her laugh.

"You're a dork." She said and I nodded.

"Let's finish the movie." I said and she continued watching with me.

I took our bowls to the kitchen and put them in the sink. When I got back Raven was putting in the second movie.

"What?" She asked smiling as she saw me.

"Wanting to see the 'hot guy' in action again?" I asked and she rolled her eyes and sat back down on the couch.

"I actually like the movie not just the protagonist." She said and I smirked.

"Mhm." I said and earned a punch in the arm.

We watched the movie together and she ended up falling asleep on my shoulder. I smiled and pulled her to me and put the blanket on her.

When the movie was over I picked her up and carried her into her room. I put her under her blankets and started to go before she started sobbing in her sleep.

"Shh, Raven what's wrong?" I asked and gently touched her. That slight touch caused me to have a look into her dream. She was dreaming of Oliver.

"Shh honey it's okay." I said soothingly and rubbed her back.

"Drew?" She opened her eyes.

"I'm here honey."

"Will you sleep in here with me tonight?" She asked and I smiled at her.

"I don't want to sleep alone." She frowned as I crawled into the bed beside her and lied down.

"I'm sorry." She said and I looked at her as she lied down facing me.

"There's nothing to be sorry for." I said and wiped a tear from her eye. I pulled her closer and rubbed her back gently to help her go back to sleep.

"I think I'm okay to sleep on my own now. You can go now if you want." She said and started to move but I held on a little tighter.

"No,I'll be here to protect you." I said and watched her fall asleep in my arms.

Raven and I had grown closer than I thought we would've over the past few months. She was smart, powerful, beautiful beyond words...I was head over heels for her but I didn't know if she felt the same way. She was still healing from Oliver and I didn't want to rush her.

I woke up to soft snoring against my neck.

"Mmm." Raven stirred softly and opened her eyes

"Hmm?" I smiled.

"Good morning." She nuzzled her head into my chest and wrapped tighter around me.

"Good morning." I reply and hold her closer.

"Thank you for sleeping with me last night." She looks up at me with those big brown eyes of hers.

"My pleasure, darling." I move a strand of hair from her face and kiss her forehead gently.

"Are we still going to visit my family today?"

"Yes." I smile and caress her blushing cheek.

"Okay." She smiles wide and gets up. I watch as she bounces around her room happily as she grabs clothes for the day.

"Meet you downstairs in thirty?" She turns to me.

"Of course."

Ravens P.O.V

"RAVEN." Jackson screamed and tackled me to the ground.

"Hi Jackson." I said breathless and pushed him off of me through fits of giggles.

"Where the hell have you been?" He asked and hugged me.

"I needed some time." I said.

"You disappear for three months without a word to any of us on if you're dead or alive? Do you know how many people have been looking for you?" He asked.

"Eh I'm fine." I said.

"Who're you?" Jackson turned to Drew, who was standing awkwardly behind me.

"Hello I'm Drew Barker, King of the Lost." Drew bowed respectfully.

"I'm Jackson, Prince of Hope."

"Can we go inside now? I'd like to see our parents." I said and Jackson nodded. I knew he was going to ask me a million questions later.

"Raven!" I was suddenly enveloped in an embrace by my father.

"I'm glad you're okay." He squeezes me gently and sets me back down on my feet.

"I'm sorry I disappeared for a while. I needed some time to focus on myself."

"You've gotten so much stronger! I can feel the power radiating off of you" He smiles proudly and then turns to Drew.

"I hope you've been taking good care of her."

"Of course, your highness." Drew bows with a smile.

"Let's join the others, I'm sure everyone will love to see you." Dad wraps his arms around the both of us and leads us to the dining room.

After about an hour of catching up with everyone, we all gathered in the dining room for breakfast. It was also nice for Drew and Snow to reunite after so long.

Someone was missing from this little gathering and I didn't know whether I was thankful or upset about it.

The last time I had saw him, I had wanted to hurt him in so many different ways

"What's bothering you love?" Drew whispered to me quietly.

"I'm okay I'm just thinking." I reply.

"Raven." A familiar voice interrupted my every thought.

There stood Oliver in the doorway in all of his glory

"Where have you been?" He asked.

"She's been with me." Drew spoke and Oliver looked at him.

"Drew?" He asked.

"Nice to see you again, brother." Drew said and took my hand under the table.

"I'm glad to see you're okay." Oliver said to me.

"Thank you." I said my mouth growing dry. He sat down beside Snow and started to eat. Drew rubbed his thumb over my knuckles to keep me calm.

"So, what have you been up to for the last three months?" Oliver asked.

"I've been learning as much as I can about my powers." I reply

"Why don't you show us something you've learned?" Jackson asked. I lit up with excitement and turned to Drew.

"After everyone is finished eating. We'll show you a little of what she's mastered." Drew said and I saw dad and mom look at each other, both of them smiling.

When everyone was done eating we went into the throne room. Everyone sat on their thrones while Drew and I stood in front of them.

"Each of you get two knives." Drew said and displayed throwing knives in front of everyone.

They each held them waiting to see what was going on. Drew came to me and blindfolded me so I couldn't see anything. All of my other senses perked up and my power quickly wrapped around me. "I want each of you to start throwing knives at her." Drew said.

"What?" Oliver asked and I smirked.

"Just watch, Oliver." Drew said and I smiled.

"Whoever wants to go first throw both of your knives." Drew said and someone got up out of their seat.

I felt my hands twitch as the knives started coming my way. I quickly used my hearing to find where they were headed and grabbed them both by the handle.

"Really, Jackson." I said and he laughed.

"How'd you know it was me?" He asked.

"Because you threw them on either side of me, someone trained would know to throw them into me. Plus you suck at throwing everything. " I said and Drew chuckled.

"Next?" He asked and I heard more coming. I quickly jumped in the air and kicked both of them somewhere.

"That was awesome." Jackson said and I smiled and bowed. I heard four coming towards me and I quickly kicked them all back. My power  stopped them before they could hit anyone.

"R-raven." Snow whimpered. I took the blindfold off and shadow traveled to her grabbing all of the knives.

"That was terrifying ." She smiled. I felt power being used and turned to see one of the monsters Drew and I had created.

"What is that?" Mom asked with a look of shock and excitement in her eyes.

"This here is Morte the hellhound. Raven and I created." Drew smiles to me.

This went on for a while.

"Raven why don't you come home to them?" Drew asked suddenly as we walked to the hill. The sun was beginning to set and it was always beautiful to see the last rays of the sun leave.

"What? Are you trying to get rid of me already?" I asked and he laughed.

"No. It's just your family is here. Shouldn't you be with them?" He asked and I shook my head.

"If I wanted to come back I would. I love being with you." I said.

"Why is that?" He asked.

"You give me a reason to live my day like I'm never going to see tomorrow." I said and he smiled.

"What do you mean?" He asked

"When I was here even after everything..I didn't feel like I belonged here. I felt... trapped and alone...not just because my heart was broken but because I didn't feel like I was important and special." I said.

"Raven you've been important and special since the day you were born. You are a Princess of Hope, a great and powerful caster, an amazingly beautiful woman that men would die to be with." He frowned and looked away.

"What's the matter?" I asked.

"I'm in love with you.,"

What!?!?!?

"Drew..."

"When I saw you I knew from the start that you'd be the one to make me fall in love.....I promise I will never hurt you if you let me love you....you don't even have to love me back yet just let me be the one to show you what true love is and make you happy. These three months with you have been the most perfect months of my life. I feel free with you." He babbled without taking a break .

"Drew." I pulled him to me softly and kissed him. I had had feelings for him but didn't think he had felt the same.

When he pulled away from me, we were both breathless. Smiles on our faces for the world to see.

"Would you be mine?" He asked.

"Yes!" I wrapped around him tight and nuzzled my head into him.
