"Zoya wake up we are going to be late cause of you"
I wake up to the sound of my mother yelling my name
"Ma I'm up"
"Get ready were leaving in 30 minutes"
"Okay"
I get up and head to the shower afterward, I head to my closet to pick out an outfit. I pick a casual outfit for this occasion since I am keeping my identity a secret. So I just choose a black shirt with jean shorts and black forces.

My wolf cuts me off by saying "We will find our mate"
And I get so excited I have been waiting to find my mate since I turned 16 years 5 ago and I can't wait. I wonder what pack he's gonna be in. I hope he's in one of the first packs I meet. Ooo I can't wait...
My thoughts are cut once again by my mom yelling
"Zoya hurry or we will leave you"
"How are you going to leave me when I am the one who has to visit the packs"
I hear silence then I hear her mutter "damn she is right" then she yells " Still get your ass down here"
I hurry downstairs and say "Happy now"
"Very much, now get in the van we have to meet the first pack in a 1 hour"
I hope my mate is at the first pack and even if he isn't I bet I won't lose resolve

30 packs later
I still haven't found my mate I am starting to lose resolve and we are making our way to the 3rd best pack in the kingdom. Let's hope my mate is there.
We arrive and I smell my mate
I jump out of the car and sniff around the house I go up the stairs
I hear my mom yelling " Zoya where are you going"
But I zone her out and I enter the hallway go into one of the rooms and see a man having sex with a woman. I gasp he turns his head and makes eye contact. And I know immediately that man is my mate
I say "Oh my god, you didn't wait on me"
His eyes are bored, disgusted, and annoyed
He says to the lady he was fucking "I'll be right back sweetheart"
My wolf says "He should be calling us that"
And I nod my head in agreement. Tears threatened to fall down my face
He gets off the bed puts on his pants and heads toward the door and says
"Who are you"
"Z-zoya K-king" tears are falling down my face
"Zoya King... such a pretty name for such an ugly, weak girl"
A sob escapes my mouth
After that, he says " I Emmanuel Redwood reject Zoya King as my mate"
My heart breaks and another sob escapes my mouth as I say "Wait please we can still make this work"
"No, we can't I can't have a weak and ugly woman as my mate. My people would look down on me. I need a strong and beautiful one like Madison the one in my bed"
I look behind him and see her smirking
I look at him again and he's just smirking with her.
I run towards the garden and cry my eyes out. Until my mom finds me and asks me "What's wrong honey, why did you run up the stairs"
"My mate rejected me for being ugly and weak."
She gasps "He just didn't know how powerful you are cause of the restrictions on your powers and wolf."
"I can understand that mom but he called me ugly too"
"Then he must not know what he's missing out on who is he?"
"Do I have to tell you?"
"You don't have to but I would like to now but I won't push"
"Thanks, mom. I'll tell you when we get to the last pack cause I don't want you & dad to kill him"
My father comes out of the shadow he was hiding in
"How did you know I was here I was hiding so well"
"I'm the future moon goddess I know all"
"Well I'm happy your feeling better let's head to get something to eat and head out tomorrow"
"Okay"
After eating I took a shower and went to bed, after laying in the bed for a while everything that happened to me just hit me with full force and I couldn't hold back my tears.

The next morning we eat breakfast and head off to the other pack without me getting seen by the alpha(my mate). My mom and dad came up with the excuse that they had to head to the next pack quickly cause they were short on time when in reality I just wanted to leave and not run into my mate anymore.
We make it to the next pack in about an hour. I tell my parents who my mate is after about 30 minutes from driving from the next pack to this one. And my dad says" I think I forgot something at the other pack let me turn around real quick."
My mom said "Honey, let's not do that"
Even though I'm pretty sure she was rooting for dad to go back, so she could kill him too.
But I convinced them that if anybody was going to kill him It was me and that made them calm down and keep on the road.
We are pulling up to the next pack it's supposed to be the best pack
And mom and dad used to know the former alpha and luna before they became king of the werewolves and moon goddess.
Anyways let's blow this popsicle stand
