••• Rosa’s POV •••
“That’s good. Keep it up.”
I walked around the training room Ari had given me to teach magic students in her company.
Today, we were studying how to culminate their energy and maximize it for casting spells when the alarm clock on my phone rang.
“That’s it for today.” I clapped my hands. “Great jobs, everyone.”
My students began packing their belongings, and one of the girls nudged me with her elbow, whispering, “Beta Rosa, your mate is here.”
I looked at the door to see Jaxon leaning against it lazily as if he had been waiting for a while now.
I blushed and denied it hurriedly, “He’s not my mate.”
“I believe you,” the girl snickered before leaving.
“Bye, Beta Jaxon!” everyone who passed by him bid him goodbye, which he answered with a nod and smile.
Leaning against the doorframe, Jaxon was considered as handsome. And he was pretty intimidating when he wanted to be.
Maybe because he was Max’s Beta, some of Max’s demeanor had rubbed off on him.
