CHAPTER 30
Stefan
"What's going on?" I asked my brother, but he didn't want to answer me. I insisted he tell me. Derek had just come out of the room where Kara was placed. I noticed she was suffering from pain, but I didn't think the doctors would decide to admit her.
"What's going on, Derek? Tell me!" I pleaded.
Derek turned to look at me.
"What do you want, Stefan?" he snapped.
"I want to know what's happening with Kara. What did the doctors say?"
"They said they needed to run some medical tests on her. She'll spend the night here. Kara woke up almost screaming in pain. They had to sedate her to calm her down." His tone didn't sit well with me.
"Why are you talking to me like this?"
