Kara didn't take long to fall asleep. I watched her sleep peacefully without the need for medication. I suppose telling her that I would take her with me helped her relax. I know Kara hasn't been sleeping well for days. If she has managed to sleep, it's because of the medications they gave her. I felt happy to be able to help her. I felt useful at last. But I knew that my attitude toward Kara would have consequences at home. Sara would never agree with what I've done, but I didn't care. I was following my heart. I knew it was the best thing I could do to help Kara. I made a mistake by locking her up in a mental health center, and I want to correct my mistake by helping her.
